Kimberkid
Get inventive. Design the first ever STI-LDA for production. It'll be illegal for several years, then legal for 1, then illegal again, but it will be cool.
HSMITH
I'd make a sleeper out of it. Look like Granpaw's old heavy grocery getter but handle like a very light 5" hot rod...... Low 30's shouldn't be a problem.
dajarrel
Knock off everything that doesn't look like a race gun and polish up the rest. then Shoot It dj
AWLAZS
I don't have any design ideas but you can give it to me when you are done. Do you have my address still?
North
I don't have any design ideas but you can give it to me when you are done. That is what I was thinking. Edited December 30, 2007 by North
AikiDale
Set it up as a .327 for open, get lots of rounds in a mag, and see how long it takes before someone notices it doesn't meet minimum caliber?

Matt Cheely
I'd make a sleeper out of it. Look like Granpaw's old heavy grocery getter but handle like a very light 5" hot rod...... That's kinda what I was thinking. I've been wanting a gun with the long dustcover look, and shoot like a short dustcover. It's getting fixed sights so it can double as a rather large carry gun. Might go a slight bit SV'ish on the cuts...

caspian guy
Lighten the heck out of it... But do all the lightening cuts on the inside. That what the heck feeling when someone picks up a gun that looks like an edge but feels like a 5" light gun is priceless...
HSMITH
Matt, is it yours or a customer build? I am waiting for someone to ask for a 5" and tell me to do what I want with it. It would START looking like that one.....
Matt Cheely
It's all mine I hope to have this and my 6" done at the same time so I can compare the two.
BigDave
Hollow out the top end from the inside, leaving the outside unassuming. Replace the weight you removed from the top end by putting Tg inserts in the bottom of the dustcover. Put a 6 oz Grams Tg magwell on the bottom end.
