Gameplayer
While listening to Spirit in the Sky by Doctor and the Medics on the radio I got to thinking...What is your favorite one hit wonder?
BritinUSA
Northern Lights by Renaissance (1978). This came out when I was a kid. Radio One played it all the time through the summer.
mlmiller1
Ok, I'll show how old I am. My favorite or at least one of my favorites is the song "In the year 2525" by Zager & Evans written in 1964 but not played on the radio until '67 then made it to number one in 1969. You do know Spirit in the sky was written & recorded by Norman Greenbaum in '69, quite a few years before Doctor & the Medics did it? It takes a real old time rock & roller to know that trivia. Thanks for reminding me of all the old one hit wonders. MLM Edited October 2, 2007 by mlmiller1
