D.carden
So um, what do we do about ammo? I'm assuming we need to ship it to ourselves at our hotel or at the match location? I figure send 500 rounds ahead of me and bring the 11 pounds I'm allowed on the plane? What do other people do who are flying? What does UPS or fedex think about it, do they want an FFL to ship it or do they allow us to ship it to ourselves? Vince, Take your ammo to the UPS hub in Concord off Solano Way. Vicky is the person to talk to. She ships all of my ammo to the matches with no problems. 1)Package it in ammo boxes of some kind ( mine are plastic), Put them in a cardboard box with that popcorn stuff to minimize movement. 2)Create a shipping label at their terminal. GROUND delivery ( i send it to the hotel). 3) Give it to Vicky and your good to go. When it get's to be time to ship them, we can go together. We'll probably be shipping Bagakis' also. Patrick Sweeney
I'm happy to revel in my A status, thankyouverymuch. And stun you all with my shooting once I get my 25-2 back with its trigger job done. I wonder if the Bali Qualifier match will go in as a classifier score for me? That might change things.
