Catfish
Only thing I've heard so far is from Sgtsvi - says the range is fabulous - and he made major, unlike one of the other guys shootin' open in his squad. All he's shot is one stage + the chrono, so not too much on that end to report....
Matt Cheely
All I heard is that Flyin40 says the beer is better in Tulsa...
GeneralChang
I concur with SgtSVI, the range and scenery are fantastic. Stages are fun and challenging. We've only shot 3 stages and so far all is well. Pictures to follow tomorrow. Robbie Leatham is shooting the match.
eerw
range is nice.. only about half finished..but will be a great facility.. stages 10, 11 are interesting as they are set out a little further..IIRC 35yards for 10 and 25 yards for 11.. so just a little aiming TGO did make it into the match..shooting production... so the production super squads are really packed with great talent..fun to watch.. nothing seems tricky on any of the stages..all seem pretty straight up from the walkthroughs and watching other shooters.. that's all I know for now.. Sandro
I can't confirm whether he got his open gun but he is here shooting Open Division. Yes, Manny is shooting open. The range is awesome and the weather today was great with some 10 to 15mph winds but sunny. Tomorrow the cold front gets here with stronger winds. I think everyone is shooting at least 6 stages tomorrow. We shot three stages today. Great match, the Range is again awesome and is going to be 10 times better when completed. More tomorrow!!! GeneralChang
Greeting crew, hehehe. Try distraction crew. I was kidding around with one and jokingly asked if she was Miss Oklahoma, it turns out she is a former Miss Oklahoma. XRe
Distractions aside... the range *is* nice, and is going to be super duper when its complete. Easily capable of handling a World Shoot, from what I can tell. Good stuff. Here's the downside. They're calibrating a s**t load of poppers. Every popper in the match is forward falling, of a design that uses a hinge on the side. That design, coupled with freshly sodded (and therefore soft) ground is making for a lot of unreliable steel. Weather was cool, bright, and windy. Tomorrow is supposed to be pretty chilly - luckily, I'm on in the afternoon... As far as "the game" goes, I know Ong, Shred and I are all in for $2 so far... HI5-O
This facility has a lot of potential when everything is in and growing. I wouldn't be too happy if I was shooting in Production, several stages where accuracy is a necessity however the targets are out there (30+ yds) I would shoot here again even if the temp was freezing for me (40+/- deg). Rather have the heat in Barry in July Had a bad start, didn't practice accuracy at 30 yds thinking since the Production shooters were shooting too. Oh well...next year I won't assume things would be any easier. Spent lots of $$$ . aloha, Barry Oh yeah, met Shooter Grrl and Big Brown Dog, kewl.... shred
It was a little chilly this afternoon, but the big test is going to be tomorrow.. forecast of 39 degrees at 8am.. And we shoot then.. A whole lot of calibration shots on poppers, and rumors of an arb or two on the long stages since the calibrator's aren't always hitting the 30+ yard poppers in the circle and it then becomes a luck game where you bet on the abilities of the RM's...
