Great list!!!

My humble additions:

Metallica- Whiskey in the jar ( much better than Thin lizzy's one to me)

The Offspring- almost anything

Aerosmith-Toys in the attic, Lord of your thighs ( just for the memories)

Sammy Hagar-Heavy Metal

Alien ant farm-Attitude

Stained-For you

ACDC w/Bon Scott-TNT

Edgar Winters-Frankenstien

Ted Nugent-Pick one!!!

Black Sabbath-The wizard

Guns n roses- One in a million ( you will NEVER hear that on the radio)

Guess I should stop.  The more I think the more songs pop in my head.  I like a really thrashing beat but a pounding rythm and hard core lyrics can get me going too!!!

The "theme" song from Flashdance...

She's a maniac, a maniac, ohhhohhh.

Any questions

The Flashdance chick (Jennifer Beals?) didn't do any of her own dancing, they used a double.  Does this mean that you have a double do your shooting for you?

BigDave,

What about System of a Down? I tried them a couple times on a friends recommendation, and couldn't do it. Then recently a good friend gave me a "guided tour," and I totally dug about 5 songs right off the bat.

I've got a mix tape for my truck (that's right, no CD player!) that starts out with Jesus Built My Hot Rod by Ministry, Cool Thing by Sonic Youth, and Wicked by Ice Cube. Definately keeps me awake on the highway.

Nolan,  "150+mph speeding ticket" wow!!!  What kind of car?  Great song.

It was a '70 Vette with a hotted up 427, funny thing is the cops never even saw my friends '70 426 Hemi Superbird that I was chasing!!!!

Cool car.  I had a 68' 427 4spd. conv.  It was a fun car when I could keep it running.  The radio never worked but then I wouldn't have heard it over the engine anyways.  :)

Interesting you would say "chasing".  I got a ticket in the 120+ range once.  (well twice)  I was in an older Porsche and the other was an RX-7.  I didn't know the other driver but we were 'drafting' each other weaving through the interstate traffic.  I just happened to be in back when I notice a trooper barrelling up beside me.  He points at me to pull over.  We both slow down and I pull over,  the RX keeps going.  The trooper jumps out of his car,  runs up to me and is yelling "what were you chasing that guy for?"  I don't think he believed my story and I got a big lecture and a big fine.

Oh yea,  the radio in the Porsche rocked!!! Even with the top off.

I was going to edit my original post, but this deserves it own slot.

Slipknot -   IOWA

Man, I thought that Slayer was a group of rather "unhappy" folks, but these guys make Slayer almost seem happy.  l wouldn't drive while listening to this one folks.

Just found a CD by one of my favorite bands from yesteryear.  The album is Teenage Head by the Flamin Groovies.  The title song is a riot, and the album even has Robert Johnson's 32-20.  "I got a 32-20 built on a .45 frame. I'm gonna ventilate my woman if I catch her with another man."

Allow me to float this one.....

Lately I'm very careful about getting "jacked up" with some kickass music prior to a match.  Years ago, I would listen to AC/DC prior to a football games to get the juices flowing.  The whole locker room would get whipped into a blood-thirsty frenzy which was perfect for football, but for the fine motor skills required for shooting it's not.  If you're shooting while pumped-up, you're not shooting to your potential.  Relax....
