At the time I was very limited in RO experience. only ROed 4 0r 5 matches before Dowters mishap. Should I have DQed him? Maybe. However I didn't. Maybe while I was watching his gun falling I should have said to just let it fall and then use the procedure for picking up an unloaded gun. I am glad to see other peoples views on this so it is alittle clearer what to do the next time. We did ask another RO at the match his opinion and he said he would have done the same thing. Carver mount is Great. I know I didnt like the feel of the long slide guns thats why I went with the 22 with external comp.

I am in the process of setting up my own Glock for Open Division. I'm using a G22 top with a KKM barrel and KKM 4port comp. I tried the THE Mount and have a Carver mount on the way to try it. You will definately want to get the +8 mag pads from Taylor Freelance. I think the C-More is the way to go. Will be adding a Caspian Slide this winter.

Dawson only makes them for the small frame Glocks.

Just got the Taylor Freelance +8 mag pads the other day and these things are great. Along with the Novaks +1 Follower I get a total of 25 rounds of .40 I am glad Flex talked me into getting these.

And what is next? Double the size of the No-Shoots?
