And what hat is the purpose of having the rear sights hanging out like that? For a bit more sight radius? Use it as a slide racker?

Also looks Very Solid - bet it would put up with any punishment I've inflicted over the years. Great idea, actually.
Jamese35
If you really look at it that rear sightsight is mounted to the frame and not the slide. My best guess would be that they are trying the same theory as a open gun with the frame mounted optic. The front sightsight looks to be a sight block so that wouldn't move as well. If you look carefully it looks like the front sight is mounted on a block attached to the barrel instead of the slide (like an old sti tru sight). That would make the sights almost non-reciprocating which would make them easier to track as well as the gun cycled. Same sort of effect as an old highstandard target pistol I have. LuvDog
I like the idea of thinking outside the box and/or revisiting ideas... but that rear sight mount just looks homemade/garage gunsmith to me where it attaches to the grip. I do like that grip though.
obsessiveshooter
Cool idea, but the single screw holding the rear sight on the end of a tubing fork seems like a potential problem. It may be super solid. BUL isn't imported to the US yet, is it?Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
cybrosh
Don't know how it would handle the beating over time, but the barrel is one piece, like STI's Trubor.

I had to LocTite my grip screw on my TruBor - when the screw got loose, I lost my point of aim - by a lot. Shot my Chrony because of how much the point of aim was off at 12 feet.
