GIO
With prices being pretty low I was thinking about purchasing 5k rounds of 55gr loaded ammunition. Any recommendations on a vendor, manufacturer? I am set up to reload but I would rather direct those efforts towards 69/77s. Thoughts? Snausages32
In my experience, if you're just shooting at paper for the purpose of shooting at paper, Wolf Gold has been great for me. Usually on the cheaper end of cost, and the brass is reloadable. After doing a quick search, I'm seeing it for 27 cents / round (plus shipping). L3324temp
Wolf Gold and PMC Bronze are both around 300 delivered and run well in my rifles.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Balwolley
Just FYI PSA palmetto state armory is selling surplus for $240/K i can barely load for that price !!
apetrulis01
PMC Bronze and Wolf Gold are the cheapest and PMC is very accurate out of my guns. I shoot the Bronze round out to 300-350 before switching to the heavier load.

StealthyBlagga
Federal is offering generous rebates on their ammo through the end of the year. Several places have American Eagle .223Rem for under $300/k shipped plus you get a $50 rebate... that's under 25 cents per round.
davsco
absolutely check out ammoseek.com and/or gunbot.net for ammo prices. def have to see what freight costs are though as some places show cheap ammo but bend you over on freight. targetsportsusa is generally one of the lowest and gives free freight with case qty's. EliteGuard
Ammoseek.com or Slickgun work great for finding deals. Wolf gold can be found for .28c a round shipped and Federal has a rebate that can get the ammo including shipping down to .24c to 25c a round. I think Wolf gold has a crimped primer pocket though. JesseTischauser
I have 5-6,000 rounds of PMC on hand at all times. That stuff is 110% reliable and accurate as you need out to 200+ yards.
