I have nitro fins from shooting sports innovations on both of my open guns and really like them. They are a slide stop replacement so super easy to use and can be moved from pistol to pistol.

I have three Nitro Fins and like them quite a bit.

I've got relatively short thumbs.   Tried the go-gun,   worked but didn't feel right.    Went to

Nitro Fin.   Better,  but it was a little flatter than I wanted.   Ended up with Phoenix

Trinity slide stop rest.  A bit more vertical.   I run a little patch of grip tape on it.

How well do they work with the optic mounts on the gun?

That’s my problem I have little baby hands. So I have seen some thumb rests that look like they are made for people with big meat hooks.

Why did you end up switching? The go gun ones look big and bulky.

I felt the GG had more room for your thumb to point fwd vs the small pad  on the rht making it feel like it was at an angle.  If that makes sense.  Also the Gg is thick and there was enough material to make it at the angle I liked.  I can post a pic to show.

Yeah if you wouldn’t mind posting a pic I would like to see that

I use a Go Gun on my CK Arms Hardcore 9 major.  It has worked very well for me.  I have tried others, but the Go Gun has worked the best.

Sweet looking gun! I just ordered a CK thats black and has the same PVD finish on the controls and barrel. From the reading I have done seems like a lot of people like the GG rest. I might go with that because it cheaper than the other ones and if I don't like it then I'm not out as much money and also have an idea what I would like better. Have you had any problems with your CK?

I tried to get 2 different angles in the same pic. I thinned out the top so it angles fwd more. It was too vertical. Then added silcon carbide.

looks nice! its kind of a cross between the gg and the RHT rests. Whats the red dots on the screws?

Thanks. From my old racing days. If the screws start to turn loose, the paint cracks.

I do the same - thought I was looking at a pic of one of my own guns :)

I learned that trick in my MX racing days way back.
