For those of us lucky enough to make it to Frostproof, what did you think of the match? I really enjoyed the match. It was hard, but it is supposed to be... it is a national event. The stages were really good I thought. There was however “the hole stage” that was somewhat out of place. Where a swinger was s#!t through a single hole, sort of a stage of chance or luck. There was also a stage where a significant amount of competitors were burned by a popper. The videos are like whoa. I hope everyone had a good time and see you in July 2020 for IPSC US Nationals!

2018 Nationals I drew to the partial and worked in with speed and it came in at 92%. I reshot the stage at a local match earlier this year and drew to the open close paper and was a little fast for 95+%

@sstephns got me changing springs every three stages... all I can say is buy a large box and shoot lots of As.

You are ignorant. I have bought several SVs and I offered to pay extra each time for them to just build it and the won’t do it. My 9 was cheaper than all the supercomp builds.

I have got one in 18 months, different pistol shipped in 12, another about the same. It all depends what you order... order some kooky bull$hit, custom cuts, or some pink glitter gat with unicorns on it and it will take longer.

I shot US IPSC nats with two Bul sponsored shooters last year. Both gentlemen were shooting single stack and their guns ran and looked cool.

I don’t know but the hybricomp is the sauce IMHO.

I ROed a guy at a local once, start position was standing inside the shooting area toes on mark... buzzer goes off, he steps forward in what he believes is the shooting area and shoots 34 foot fault procedurals. The worst part was all the make ups on steel, it was rough to watch.

Mr. Bullet feeder & mark7 are what you need.... the 1050 is built more solid than the 650-550. It comes ready to go... maybe a spent primer chute but it doesn’t need any what I call “eBay upgrades” to run “smoother.”

I earned a match bump to M and I shot classifiers for my GM. I think neither mean jack$hit. I think this is a live in the now sport. Shoot right now. This weekend 3 GMs including: one old school, one new (me), and one hands down without a doubt GM shot a classifier at our home club. We all shot high A% and were within 5% of each other for the stage in the match. The classifiers are just a stage... the scores are jacked up high now. I am not going for GM scores... I’m just trying to shoot my best match. I have reshot classifiers... hell I think everyone has shot a bunch of the same ones. Some classifiers are more popular than others, some can’t be set up inside, small ranges use the smallest bay for a classifier. Is what it is. Also if you have never practiced classifiers then maybe you should. There is a lot of fundamentals, lot of loads, and procedures, draws, start positions... shooting makes you a better shooter. The classifier book is a good resource. If you want a class bump shoot like your hair is on fire and legit. Shoot a bunch of majors and match bump. Or don’t, I don’t care. Shoot your best match, win if it works out.

Some dies pop more E clips than others... I don’t know why. I had three tool heads for my 650 (pre1050)... 9,40, 38supercomp. The 9 dies busted several e clips while the other never did.
