fatjoe123111
I have been looking at gas pedals from my new open gun that I ordered. I see a lot of people using go gun and RHT Gas pedals. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on what their favorites are? The go gun ones look like they are very big.
Nugget
I have nitro fins from shooting sports innovations on both of my open guns and really like them. They are a slide stop replacement so super easy to use and can be moved from pistol to pistol.
HI5-O
I use the GG ones on my open guns. I had a machine shop thin down the mounting pad side to get the pedal closer to the slide.
Bdh821
I use a custom made one since I'm a lefty.
echotango
I used to have the rht and switched to the GG. However, I cut off the front wing, narrowed the pad and angled it fwd as it was too vertical.

open17
I've got relatively short thumbs. Tried the go-gun, worked but didn't feel right. Went to Nitro Fin. Better, but it was a little flatter than I wanted. Ended up with Phoenix Trinity slide stop rest. A bit more vertical. I run a little patch of grip tape on it. That’s my problem I have little baby hands. So I have seen some thumb rests that look like they are made for people with big meat hooks.
Nugget
They work great with both horizontal and vertical mounts.

I felt the GG had more room for your thumb to point fwd vs the small pad on the rht making it feel like it was at an angle. If that makes sense. Also the Gg is thick and there was enough material to make it at the angle I liked. I can post a pic to show.

S&W686
I use a Go Gun on my CK Arms Hardcore 9 major. It has worked very well for me. I have tried others, but the Go Gun has worked the best.

From the reading I have done seems like a lot of people like the GG rest. I might go with that because it cheaper than the other ones and if I don't like it then I'm not out as much money and also have an idea what I would like better. Have you had any problems with your CK?
echotango
I tried to get 2 different angles in the same pic. I thinned out the top so it angles fwd more. It was too vertical. Then added silcon carbide. Edited October 30, 2017 by echotango

echotango
Thanks. From my old racing days. If the screws start to turn loose, the paint cracks. Edited October 30, 2017 by echotango
3gunDQ
I prefer RHT, but I ran a borrowed gun at a level 2 (my gun was broken) and it had an IPSC Alex and that one was really nice too.

aandabooks
I have a Go Gun and it sits too high under my 90 degree mount. What is everyone running with a 90 degree mount?

Bkreutz
I had to do some custom milling on mine to use it with a 90 mount (to access the zeroing screws), but other than that, it works great
