The effects of Harvey may or not affect us just north of Houston, but it didn't stop folks making runs on stuff at the grocery store.  I noticed the bottled water, battery, bread and potato chips shelves were all empty.

I was in line at the register paying for a few things when a guy with a cart loaded up with 6 or 7 cases of Budweiser got in line.

Me:  "You having a party?"

Him:  "Nope, they ran out of water."  :)

Mississippi boy here. When I saw it was on the way I deliberately made a trip to Texas earlier this week to fake it out. After it began making a beeline for TX I scurried home to MS.  Katrina still too fresh on my mind. Hurricanes have a way of chasing me.

Joking around and thoughts and prayers to you guys in TX. Hope it loses strength and isn't too bad on you guys.

Best wishes - Neil.
