jrswanson1
We've been having regular PCC shooters including me at our matches, all are bringing their bag to the line and bagging at the berm when done... all good. Having a hard time loading on the clock? It would be nice to have a mag well funnel for this and reloads.
norbs007
Yes, that was the first empty start stage with the PCC and I did point out it's one of the things I need to practice going forward. Should have grabbed the mag closer to the top, did better last weekend.

CZ85Combat
I think the Sig MPX is going to be the hot setup, it shoots flatter and has less recoil.
Thaunk
Kind of off topic, what range is everybody zeroing their PCC at?
Gary Stevens
50 yards for me.
DocMedic
30 and 50 yards stays flat for me, at 25 yards I'm a inch high and at 10 I'm about 1.5 inches high, at contact distances I need to aim at least 2.5 inches higher.
Thaunk
Why so far? For USPSA PCC aren't we only shooting like 25 yards at most?
aandabooks
Mine is zeroed at the same distance my handguns are. 18 yards. Until stage designers start stretching the courses of fire to longer distances I figure the same zero will work.

Rangerdug
I did the same. It helps minimizes my hold-offs.

Gary Stevens
Slightly off topic but I have been thinking about this a bit. PCC might help me extend my shooting pleasure. With the normal issues of age and eyesight, the PCC helps alleviate some of that. I tried CO to take advantage of the optic, but it just isn't for me. Unless I change my mind, the PCC might be my main gun for matches. Maybe others will give this some thought also. davsco
yeah pcc is a great option. cheaper entry than 2011's and even open varieties. sight height over bore isn't an issue it is with handguns. cheapest 9mm ammo is all you need. flexibility can definitely be an issue though, easy to one-hand or even point shoot a handgun around an obstacle, not as easy with a long gun. I'm going to need a fake can or some kind of barrel extension as I don't expect my Form 4 for my can to be approved until December. Also, you can't shoot a can in USPSA PCC as I'm suspecting the timer might work like it's supposed to. Where did you get your fake can if you don't mind me asking? knedrgr
Finally was able to run PCC today. Here's a stage at the first match with my G17 SBR This stage, the designer thought he'd gotten everyone with forcing a mag change, due to round limitation. Total round required was 36. Then here I come with a Glock 33-round mag and Dawson extended pad for a total of 37 rounds. LOL Edited July 25, 2016 by knedrgr
JonF
Having a hard time loading on the clock? It would be nice to have a mag well funnel for this and reloads. You're gonna laugh, but i took an Arredondo AR15 magwell, cut about 3/4" from the center to make it shorter font-to-back, pinned it back together and mounted it on my DDLES glock mag AR lower. Did a little contouring of the plastic "funnel" part inside to blend the transition from the magwell to the receiver. Looks a little ugly, but it works really good though. Been using it for a couple years like that at steel matches before PCC was even a thing. https://goo.gl/photos/W1ACTrEaZSftRuS29 https://goo.gl/photos/T6125pK1pU9mWP8P9
