off-season (winter) activities for open shooters?

Move to Florida. We don't have an "Off-Season"! :)

I think it is a great question though. Couple of months early this year when it was so hard to get components, I did a ton of dry firing. I have noticed that my accuracy diminished though. Not necessarily missing A's, but headshots were very tough. I ended up going to a regular range and practiced accuracy. Based on how I shot last weekend, its time for me to do that again.

I take time away from shooting so I don't get burned out. Sending the gun off today to get it refinished, new trigger, etc.

I like to sort brass and work on load development during the off season as well.

After the holidays I will start doing a little dry fire.

Off season? I've shot in below freezing weather while it was snowing.

Damn, it's 52 degrees right now in Jacksonville and I refuse to leave the house.

Exactly :)
