Insomnia

I fell asleep in my sons' room at 8, wake up at 9:30 stagger into my room where my wife asks about my day. I get all revved up ranting about telecom companies and how jacked up they are; meanwhile she falls asleep so I go fit the rear sight on my Limited. I try to go to bed at 11 but now I'm hungry so I go eat a bowl of cereal and try again: nothing! So here I am on BE's and shopping for parts online at 12:53 :(

Sleep is when the body repairs itself, it needs the proper nutrition to do so.

I have found the following things work for me helping me rest better:

Regular exersize and...

Postassim and Magnesium, Bannanas, or Cherries about 1/2 hr to 1 hr before bed. Or Valarian root pills.

(The peoples chemist has SeratoninFX (sp?) that is supposed to be good also.)

I work nightshift so I can relate. I can never sleep at night anymore. Rough when everyone expects Mom to actually be awake and functional during the day and remember everyone's everything. If you ever can't sleep, message me. I can bore you to sleep!

If anyone has insomnia tonight, you could always help me research the differences between qualitative and quantitative research using evidence based practice and peer reviewed scholarly articles to support your answer. Just sayin. That will put anyone in a coma.

I find the best way to have a sleepless night
is to get two good nights of sleep the two nights preceding.

and the best way to get to sleep is to meditate.
... I try to imagine what it is like to be an a cloud.
it is a dull place.

ain't nothing easy about it. falling asleep can be effort.

I found a smart phone game called "void defender"
it is pretty good at setting me toward sleep.
the spirals can be hypnotic.
