El Guapo
I was looking at the frame weight that SJC is offering. It slides over the dust cover. Would this be legal in limited? http://stores.sjcguns.com/-strse-95/SJC-Glock-Frame-Weight/Detail.bok
Tuflehundon
SJC site says it's legal for Open, so I'd be willing to say no.
sperman
Here are the new rules for Limited Division (as of 1/1/2013.) I don't see anything there that would make it illegal for Limited/L10. El Guapo
Thanks, my first instinct was that it would be legal but when I read it say "legal for uspsa open division and ipsc standard division" I thought I might be missing something.
mwx40x40
I think I saw one of the Team Glock Girls running a weight on one of their Ltd guns.
Croomrider
I think this is one thing that is legal now with the 2013 rules, but may not have been previously, and the manufacturer's website hasn't been updated yet! Mike

chalkdust21
Has anyone actually tried this product? SJC has a frame weight / thumb rest combo also... http://stores.sjcguns.com/sjc-frame-weight-thumb-rest-kit-for-glocks/

Glockmeister35
toris been running one for a while. only down fall is holsters. but it seems she was running a GHOST and it worked fine.
waktasz
Seems like it would work with a ghost or CR Speed. Definitely not with a DAA.
sigsauerfan
if legal for ipsc standard i'm gonna give it a try .the one with the integrated thumb rest seems cool. anyone with first hand experience with it ??
LilBunniFuFu
Sig, I have played with a *thumb rest [generic]* one before. To me it seems to settle a little nicer and give you a consistent purchase on the gun. Not sure if it was the frame weight or the pedal but my vote is yes. Just that the pedal requires you to drill the frame as well.
sigsauerfan
hmmm, not 100% sure , but i think the SJC model TORI use is posted on their online store ; looks like the pedal is screwed on the weight . imo it can't be screwed to the frame since it's plastic. i might be wrong though . anyhow i'm not drilling the frame for a thumb rest . on the other hand if the pedal is screwed on the weight sure i'm gonna give it a go. the way i see it if it's screwed that means i can remove it if i don't like it . never shot a gun with a pedal. it must provide more lever against muzzle flip since more downward pressure can be applied Edited March 14, 2014 by sigsauerfan
LilBunniFuFu
Sig, it bolts on to the weight and the frame. Same spot that the SJC C-more mount is drilled, actually uses the same internal bushing. Here is a decent picture. I am sure you could run it without drilling but I am not sure how that bracket will hold up to a heavy thumb.
Glockmeister35
overall how do you like it LIL B, you must be partial to it to have 2 of them?!
LilBunniFuFu
Those are from the SJC website. I has used them but I don't shoot limited enough to get them myself. The purple one is the same that Tori is using the the above picture.
Glockmeister35
gotcha. they seem to have different sizes that still work with the Ghost holster
sigsauerfan
pffft...i'd so like to get some insights from someone using it in combo with the TR. sure the weight make the gun much more ugly than it already is LOL...but anyhow, true that if it really tame the muzzle flip pulse substancialy, it then Worth a try. anything that can removes some of the recoil felt on the front of a glock is welcome and Worth to be tested .even with all twists and whistles added to my glocks , it is still much more affordable than any semi custom double stack. which doesn't means i'm not looking at nice svi's lolllll. gmantwo
I’m thinking it might fit the XDm, different lights/lasers usually fit rails universally, so this should
