BillR1
Anyone want to buy a gift certificate and a hat from Montana Gold? I won it at the MS Classic this weekend and won't be using it. It will take me months to get to the required 50 posts to post in classifieds. Sure!
SHARPPOINT
I'm good on bullets, but love to buy the hat! Let me know if Billr doesn't want the hat.

Lebayer
Can't believe how fast their limited stock disappears once the red flag goes up! Managed to snag a case of 124g, .357 Sig JHP, that I can use in .38 S. It's a .355 bullet, although the ogive shape is a little different than the "standard" 124g JHP . Anyone tried these bullets for 9mm or .38 Super/Comp?

remoandiris
Mine were out of stock by the time I got all the cc and shipping info entered. Maybe next time. That is interesting. Everytime I ordered as long as bullets were in the shopping cart it was GTG.

rebsimeanblackbears
Just received my case of 124gr JHPs. Measured 25 of them. Not a single one measured .355" or above in diameter. I rotated and measured each bullet at least twice. Every single one came out .354 or .3535 on my calipers. Kinda disappointed. Anyone else have a similar issue? rebsimeanblackbears
Checked and remeasured some lead 9mm bullets I had (they all measured .356") and some lead .45 (all measured .452").
Miranda
how big should they be? my pistol slugs at .356 and the lands are, as best I can guess, at .354 my old cache of FMJ from PD measure at .355 miranda
rebsimeanblackbears
Website for MG says they're .355" diameter. Edited May 24, 2013 by rebsimeanblackbears
Miranda
mmmmm yeah I think I can see that can be a problem. shove one down the barrel of your 9mm. that way you will know your measuring stick and your barrel agree. miranda
rebsimeanblackbears
Re-zeroed with a different tool. Lead is still coming out at .356 and .452. Now with the MGs, I'm getting .354 and .3545. Just need to load 'em up and see how it works first.

rebsimeanblackbears
Hey, Mike. Totally agree about the mic; my good tools are 400 miles away, though. I do think that, statistically, I should have had a few .355s with the calipers.
rebsimeanblackbears
Still gotta shoot and see. They might be fine.
