  1. Apparently, you are correct: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_5_36/143721_.html
  2. I've a cr speed belt, and it works well with the LHS holster.
  3. I've got two stock 2s, and a little dude on the way. Looking at getting rid of at least one of them for that reason. One of the two has Bodkin's magic on it. Pm me if you're interested/serious.
  4. Mine has a copper brush, a nylon brush, and I use the cotton one to leave a thin layer of oil in the barrel.
  5. I came across a bag of lots of extra springs and parts. I plan to try reducing the coil diameter on the springs as well as clipping off coils to see if I like the result.
  6. I use mostly 147gr TC at 1.145-1.150". You definitely seem to have a short leade on your barrel.
  7. Are you using a 6'oclock hold or covering the target? I've had the same issue with the factory sights on one as well. Shot way low even when I held the sights to cover the target. Also had to crank the rear sight blade significantly to the side.
  8. Gotcha. I have loaded 160 gr .356" lead round nose at 1.166" with no trouble. Based on my results from the drop test, I could load even longer, but that mags couldn't handle it. Have you tried finding the maximum overall length for your chamber with the bullet you're loading by using a fired case?
  9. Also, my 147 and 124gr rounds feed better at 1.14-1.150"
  10. As in, parallel with the chamber/barrel axis, or as in, the round's nose is stuck against the top of the chamber at an angle?
  11. Can you elaborate on the "not chambering correctly" part?
  12. Sell it all, and buy a S&W 500. You'll make major easily, and the steel will fall out of sheer intimidation.
  13. It might be heresy, but I think I like shooting the k100 better than my Stock 2.
  14. Mishka, when I slowly inserted a mag, with my off hand going toward the rear of the gun, there were times it wouldn't lock in. The mag locks up on the front on the tube, and I've not had a mag fail to lock in when I was loading it in as I would on a stage: slamming it in quickly with my off hand sliding off the front of the base pad on its way to re-grip the gun. Some people have sanded down the plastic; I think some people even use some thicker type of CZ base pad.
  15. Well, the new mag springs are as stiff as they'll ever be, so the force they exert on the slide release should go down with use. Is it difficult to release the slide with no mag in the gun? That should feel the same as a mag with dummy bullets. If you can tell a noticeable difference, then maybe there's an issue.
  16. I might be misreading you, but I don't know if it's an "issue." The mag follower is designed to push up and activate the slide lock when the mag is empty. My k100 does the same thing, and it has never malfunctioned. You have to press down like a bear to overcome the mag spring tension and the friction of slide release against the slide. How does it work with dummy rounds in the mag?
  17. Website says 8 weeks for non-EU customers. I e-mailed a question a while back and received a response within 1 day.
  18. Currently, I have a Comp tac belt holser for a GP-6, only because it came with the pistol. I used a cheap saw to cut off the bottom of the holster b/c the different slide profile was keeping the pistol from sitting fully in the holster. It works fine but looks like Dr. Frankenstein's yaqui slide holster from hell. I'm currently waiting on a holster that Canuck223 recommended from LHS holsters: http://www.lhsholsters.com/products_inf.php?lang=english&pid=87
