Tactical Sport grips

I am not real fond of the flat metal grips on CZ pistols and like a more rounded grip. Does anyone know if I can get and where I can get different grips.

Although I've tried the aluminum grips, I prefer the standard rubber grips on my pistols with some skateboard take on the front and rear straps.

I made a set of grips from a Hogue wrap around finger groove set for a 75, I chopped and ground it into 2 grips, looked pretty good, too. Here's what they look like ...not my gun though.

I sanded off the bottom of some G10 checkered grips (for magwell clearance) and they work great.

+1. The standard rubber grips fit my hands the best.

I run the factory CZ rubber grips:link on my TacSport. A good pair of scissors is enough to trim the bottom of the grips to clear the magwell.

I just modded a pair of rubber grips after reading this. Pretty dang nice!

Edited to add I imagine the plate covers holes for an optic mount.

Optic mounting holes.

I use the Hogue wraparound grips on every pistol I own; the TS, large frame Witness and the 97B take a little love to make them fit, but they all feel great to me.

I used to sell 1911 grips I made on ebay. They were very easy to make. I've made grips for all my CZ's and they really suck to make due to all the angles on the underneath side. I have made several out of G10 or Micarta and I will not make any more (unless I buy another CZ). Those Hogue grips look amazing. It's also pretty easy to sand off the checkering of the original wood grips and add grip tape. I prefer the feel of grip tape over the rubber. My hands sweat a lot in the summer and I find I get a more positive grip with the grip tape.

I just have mine sanded smooth and oiled. Gives my soft hands enough grip sweaty or dry. I never get callouses because I sand too many things for them to ever build up.
