ErikW
It's all about the focal point. If she was shooting iron sights, she'd see the fireball.

shred
I think they show up on tape better than in real life. I don't ever see the fireball until the ambient light gets very dim, but I can see them on tape much sooner. Camera CCD's are sensitive to infrared light. dajarrel
I believe this is what would make an open gun with a slow powder such an awesome home defense weapon. You may not hit the creep, but he won't be able to see or hear for days and you will probably set his clothes on fire!!!! Can you imagine..... bad guy sneaking in, pupils fully dilated, ears listening for the smallest sound and BOOM, Hellfire and damnation erupts before him, singeing his retinas with the very fire that sets his pants on fire. And you might even put a slug in them. Not to mention that the ringing in his ears will last for a long time. That'll teach 'em to break in my house Oh well, back to reality. dj
Kingman
Gotta love comp guns. Only time I ever noticed my flash was inside darker buildings. I am using win 540, very loud as well. Even better than my newer loads are the old 180pf loads I still am shooting up in practice.
