Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Starline makes 38 Super brass in 38 Super and 38 Super +P. Something to think about if you load brass you find at the range. Will the plain Super handle Major loads?
  2. Clark Custom Guns, Inc http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/ Pinnacle Custom Gunsmithing http://www.pinnacle-guns.com/ I used Clark and they did a good job. I also had the cylinders chamfered and polished. I have seen Pinnacle's work and they also do a good job. You only have to ship the cylinder which makes it a lot simpler than having to ship a whole firearm.
  3. Try Monocacy Pistol Club in Frederick They have something like Steel Challenge this Sat. They also have falling steel every month. If you like pins, that will start in March. http://www.monocacypistolclub.com/
  4. I use a 9# ISMI spring with a 38Super.
  5. I am left eye dominate and strong hand right. It most be less than years past as this year I started shooting with both eyes open and it is working for me in open with a C-more. When I use a stock revolver for steel forget it. I can come up on the first target which is usually a larger one and closer and hit it and then look at the next target and can't find a sight alignment and it feels like the gun isn't pointing at the target. I look at the target and bring the revolver to the target when I start off and the sights are there for the first target.
  6. 1) It takes money to buy equipment and loading components to do a lot of shooting practice, How to shoot, How to practice when you are not at the range. 2) I'm loosing my grip! 3) I'm a GM! Let someone else cleanup the broken bottle.
  7. I recommend that you use SP primers for light loads. I have seen black rings around the primers using SR primers. The primers were leaking gas. The same primers (SR) worked fine with hotter loads.
  8. A friend of mine had his 45ACP lockup from a squib When the gun was finally cleared the bullet was still being held by the brass, but stuck out far enough to jamb in the barrel. It took some effort to get the bullet out of the brass.
  9. Michael, if you are still have problems with horizontal strings check and see if your trigger finger is dragging wood. Make sure the back part of your finger is not touching the stock when your finger is on the trigger.
  10. Winchester 15th Edition Reloader's Manual (Freebie type) has bushing charts in it that show AA-Plus & WST in the same column in each of the charts.
  11. If we were not at war it would be a crockumentary, but we are at war and that makes it sedition. Stuff like this emboldens the enemy to think he might win if he sticks in there long enough. This results in more of our troops getting killed.
  12. Mine was 6 moa I don't recall how I originally found out, but when I changed it the color code on the module agread with a 6moa.
  13. His web site is http://www.vanekcustom.com/
  14. Hoppe's #9 Copper Solvent, Mpro7 oil & TW25B grease.
