Battle in the Bluegrass round III

The range is in Eastern time zone correct

Yup.

So does that mean my times should be faster or slower than usual?

After extensive research and after applying the following equations:

V = Vo + at

X - Xo = Vot + .5at^2

v^2 = vo^2 + 2a(X - Xo)

X - Xo = .5(Vo + V)t

You may be surprised to find that time zone has virtually zero effect on USPSA output times and scores.

Hence, the only reasonable conclusion one can draw is that you will certainly finish approximately 1 hour sooner than someone in the adjacent US time zone shooting at the relative "same time".

I don't know about all that.....I shoot faster....okay just better in the Eastern time zone.....so redo the formula....lol

I may have forgotten to factor in Texas heat, Houston humidity, and the relative new-ness of that gun you brought down there :D

And I thought I was the only nerd shooting the match.

7:00 AM :surprise: Well probably.

I'll stay as long as people are coming. I think I left last year around 6:00 PM.

Watch for changes to the stages.

I heard most of the changes involve over turned cars and burning furniture

"Standing in box A, handgun loaded and holstered, lighter fluid and zippo in hand. Upon start signal, torch couch, engage targets as they become visible. Failure to shout "Go Cats" results in one procedural."

Thanks Corey. AT, I will be by around 3p or so. No need to get up early!

One more dummy question...will the gate be open, or do I need to contact AT telepathically once I reach the range?

The gate is open from sunrise to dusk.

That's funny.

Sad and true, but still funny.

Thanks and it is sad but true.

I am lightening the striker on my zippo today.
