Shadow1
This is awesome, started using it last week. Night 1 - wife gives me the look of...men and their toys Night 2 - wife pretty much ignored me Night 3 - wife holstered up and said move over Love my wife! She eventually comes around. Now it's on the TV every night and the furniture is moved out of the way. Edited June 9, 2012 by Shadow1
h4444
Thanks. I just used that website for about 45 min. My wife kept looking at me like I was retarded!!! "Why are you pretending to shoot at you computer?!!" Priceless! Damn, I use my 32" LCD TV as my secondary monitor, I can only imagine doing this on a 50" or bigger. I just saw this thread, my android tablet has an hdmi output so I can clone its display to my bigscreen, this IS SWEET.

daves_not_here
Steve Anderson's podcasts about dry-fire training. It adds much understanding to his books. I feel I'm finally starting to learn how to dry-fire correctly. I'm hooked. http://andersonshooting.libsyn.com/ DNH

Amerflyer48
uggh, I shudder when I look at my 27 inch monitor and think about rule2: Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy. maybe I should get a cheap projector and project it out over a concrete wall just get a mirror and shoot the reflection... GigG
Remember, at most big matches one or two TVs are usually "bagged". I remember at the Nationals in Berry many moons ago ('89 or 90') a shot was fired that went through about 6 rooms. The guy (who's name will not be mentioned) was practicing mag changes and dry fires, standing at the foot of the bed letting the mags land on the bed. In one of those 6 rooms the round went right over the head of another shooter who was sitting on the bed watching TV eating a burger. It just missed all those ugly ass prints that are on the wall of every hotel. Edited February 21, 2013 by GigG

kita
That is pretty cool. I can see the incredulous look on my wife's face already... do they ever get over this kind of stuff??! Just about every surface in my house is decorated with dry-fire targets. If you have an electronic curtain, you can use it to make a mover! Get your wife into shooting, maybe then she'll be excited about it!

Kool Aid
I use Predator Tactical's par timer instead of my actual shot timer for dry fire. Their timer is more adjustable for volume and runs a repetitve loop on my laptop while I work through Stoeger's 15-minute routine. I mostly use paper targets on a wall instead of the target on the screen, but sometimes I put the laptop in another area of the room and practice transitioning to and from the on-screen target.
