TRUBL Posted August 31, 2010 Share Posted August 31, 2010 (edited) Real 1911's: Don't have bull barrels Don't have full length guide rods Don't have extended safety's Don't have ambi safety's Don't have extended Mag Releases Don't have extended slide release Don't have trigger jobs Don't require magazine wells or base pads on the mags Has a blackened barrel Has a 20# recoil spring Has a half cock safety Has a functioning grip safety Never blued.....mag phosphate finish.....period! Shoots 230 grain ball ammo reliable because in a REAL 1911, you have no need to shoot anything else.
