  1. Hello: Looks like an Airsoft item to me. That could have been a very bad situation! Thanks, Eric
  2. Hello: Looks very dry in there to me. Lube it up very well and try it again. Thanks, Eric
  3. Hello: I have all factory magazines except for two Magpul 17 round mags with Zev base pads. I may get some Magpul big sticks if I can find them. I tried the 21 round Magpul mags but they did not drop quickly since they are so light. They worked 100% though. I have also used Glock 19 mags for shooting prone. I would get 3 Glock 33 round mags and 3 short mags. That should be a good starting point. Thanks, Eric
  4. Hello: Factory and the Magpul work the best. Taccom coupler with a 17 and 33rd mag, +5/6 base pads TTI Dawson Arredondo and a Taylor Freelance +10. That should be all you need for any USPSA pistol match or carbine match. Thanks, Eric
  5. Hello: I would give Hiperfire a call before you file off the case hardening that should be there. Thanks, Eric
  6. Hello: I have one of my C-More that has been on 223's, open pistols, 22's and now is on an MPX. It is still working after 10 years of use. I don't think it is fragile at all unless you run it over. Thanks, Eric
  7. Hello: I would phone MPX and ask them. Sounds like the safety doesn't have enough clearance to clear the trigger. Thanks, Eric
  8. Hello: I like Tite Group a lot. For your 147's about 2.9 grains should get you to 131PF. N320 maybe a little softer but it costs almost twice as much and is not twice as good. Thanks, Eric
  9. Hello: I think that a Radian Raptor will work. I can check with a friend who has a JP with the side charger to see if my Raptor will work in it. It maybe a couple of days before I see him. Thanks, Eric
  10. Hello: What lower do you have? Some have a much better angle of attack than others. I like the QC10 lowers since they have the angle just right. I have seen some other lowers that have had this problem but most of those have been using non factory mags or very long base pads. It could be that your mag spring is either too strong or too weak. I use the TF delrin base pad and the 5/6 TTI, Dawson, Arredondo base pads. If I need a really big stick I use a Taccom coupler with a 17 and 33 round factory Glock mags with the 17 on top and the 33 round spring on top. Thanks, Eric
  11. Hello: I load the same way but always look to see if the first round chambers. I learned that trick many years ago from Benny Hill after doing the same thing a couple of times. Thanks, Eric
  12. Hello: Using the KNS anti rotation spring adds about 3-4ozs of trigger pull. Using standard pins or the CMC pins allows the pin to rotate in the lower and also the hammer and trigger. Thanks, Eric
  13. Hello: They are well worth the money for those empty table starts. Thanks, Eric
  14. Hello: We had one this weekend at the match. It has a sleeve in the chamber as shown above. It is not coming out easily since the out of battery round swaged it in place. I should have it removed today. Thanks, Eric
  15. Hello: The Ghost 360 pouches will not fit the Sig MPX magazines. Thanks, Eric
  16. Hello: Then both would be a good option. I know the stock trigger on the CZ is not great but can be made a lot better. Not sure on the stock ATI. You may want to look at the Ruger PCC as well. There will be some parts coming out for it shortly. Thanks, Eric
  17. Hello: Do you reload? Thanks, Eric
  18. Hello: The standard JP 9mm bolt weights 13.4817 ounces, at least mine does. The green spring I use in the JP captured buffer is 13.5 lb. A stock AR15 223 spring is about 12-14 lbs. Not sure on the 308 spring since I don't have one anymore. You are going to like the 125 grain bullets more than the 115's. Thanks, Eric
  19. Hello: That is really good splits for an AR9 without bump firing it. Just hit all alphas and you will do great. Thanks, Eric
  20. Hello: I think the total weight of the buffer and bolt is best in the 18-21 ounce range. Then you can work on the spring that will work for your loads. I am now using 124 grain bullets at 131-134PF. It cycles quickly and the hits on target are great. Thanks, Eric
  21. Hello: Put those TTI base pads on some 33 round Glock mags and that will give you 36-37 rounds on the reload. So start with a big stick with 40 rounds and then reload to the 36 round little big stick. If you take three steps there is space to do a reload. Plan your stage and everything will be alright. Thanks, Eric
  22. Hello: I am using Sig Blade Tech ones that I modified so they work better. I drilled and countersunk two more mounting screws on the pouch so it is mounted more firmly. I also have another set that I use the Blade Tech quick release TMMS small mounts on as well. The Blade Tech pouches are cheap from Sig when they are in stock and clearance prices. Thanks, Eric
  23. Hello: Yes I have and do. If you use a 17 round Glock factory mag on top and a Glock 33 round factory mag on the bottom and reverse the springs so the spring connection never passes the joint it works 100% for me. I only load it to 47 rounds which is more than enough for the matches I shoot. Thanks, Eric
  24. Hello: I am using KAW Valley, Matrix and JP bolts and they all work well. For barrels I am using Wilson Arms, KAW Valley and JP. I have used the bolts with a Hahn bottom insert and it works fine. Thanks, Eric
  25. Hello: Some options for a small diameter hand guard are the Matrix, Taccom carbon, KAW Vallay carbon and Seekins are the small diameter ones I have used and seen. The barrel nut on your JP has LocTite on it so you will have to use some heat. Changing the hand guard on a JP factory PCC makes it much better to shoot. Thanks, Eric
