  1. Been out of revos and organized shooting for some time now. I still have a sweet 4" 19 with modded jetloaders and pouches I shot some idpa with about 7-8 years ago.. In fact, it was a IDPA national champion gun in ssp circa 2004 or so. Should I sell it as a pkg here, or just dump it locally as a worn but sweet shooting k frame. looks like ssp has changed in the last few years.. any input?
  2. i didnt read all the above, but it looks like a shell is slipping past the shell catch (your heavy loads may be helping that)AND the carrier is tight on the trigger group AND possibly the carrier spring is weak. good luck
  3. just drag it behind a car for a few hundred miles, knock a few oz off lickety split
  4. No. Contact them, they have dimensions of their tools. these tools wear, you know
  5. my vote is for the Salient Arms Agency
  6. this should be at the top of your tool list. 361-241-1091
  7. man, could he rip it. Hope theres cardboard in heaven
  8. right, they use the same trigger bow, have the same frame width, have exactly the same frame dimensions, including sear spring notch. thats sarcasm btw
  9. ideal for those getting paid to do them
  10. Make a sight out of a charcoal briquet. Otherwise put some sight black in your gun bag
  11. Imo This is a discussion you should be having with your gunsmith, unless you are they.
  12. Hand cycling the bolt is not needed for operation of this firearm.its also not needed for unloading said firearm. If you are doing this to unload it, learn to manipulate the shell latch properly. but, If you want it to return to battery when doing this, be robust, you are not fully compressing the bolt rearward as it would happen when shooting appropriate ammo.
  13. left handed shotguns are for left handed suckers; get a regular rh version and swap the safety around. done.
  14. That gap you speak of is clearance on the top of the barrel lugs/ slide lug recesses as its unlocked and dropped down and the slide cycles
  15. Biggest downside is that you have not control over lockup a lot of assumptions need to fall into place for it to be an optimal fit. If you have plans for a lot for rounds through it, get a barrel hard fit. Better in the long run
