  1. Man... How many of us go to our local hang-out for a bite to eat and that cold one after the match? This could happen to anyone. I'm sorry it happened to you Hop. I hope they find your stuff.
  2. Wow! You don't look old enough to be married that long, Lynn. Congrats!
  3. That's all I was doing zhunter....And, *poof*...I'm wearing finger splints 24/7 for 6 weeks. Whouda thunk?
  4. Thanks for the info, you two. My father-in-law is a Doc., so both fingers are now in a splint for about 6 weeks. I can take them off for matches, though. Thank God. Cheers to you!
  5. Did this last night at my son's football practice catching a ball. Middle and ring finger in my off hand. I have steel match this Sunday. Any suggestions from you medical types? I iced it , but the first joint in each finger is bent down. This really sucks.
  6. ***Back To The Future*** 1994 all over again...
  7. It's a good CD. The last time I saw AC/DC was in 1983. I was 15 years old. I'd been seeing shows in our local coliseum up to that point and AC/DC was to play an arena on our coast a couple of hours away. I asked my mom about going, and she said "No." So, I said, "OK," and didn't mention another word about it. 3 weeks later I was there... About 10 of us skipped school and made a road trip! We made a 3 day party of it and, yes I got into some trouble when I came home, but it was worth it. 25 years goes by fast.
  8. Sorry..1.115 147 grain (tc) Precision bullet
  9. And, in USPSA there can be no empty brass handled in the safe area.
  10. Any word on ladies and jr.s? Good shooting!!! Have a safe trip home.
  11. Agreed; that stuff is awful. Bring your own baby wipes because that's much better than toilet paper anyway....Ahhh...the things you "discover" after having children!
  12. Blade Tech Holster, Bianci Hemisphere pouches and CR Speed belt. I hoping to get a Ky-Tac Super Hooper from David Elderton when he starts making them. His stuff is great.
  13. I hated it until I loaded a few hundred rounds with it and it's a must have!
  14. 3.2 Clays Universal with a Federal primer and Precision (black) bullet is 132.5 pf out of a G-17.
  15. Sounds like a simple end-shake problem that can be shimmed.
  16. Precision Bullets and Billy Bullets cut down on the smoke because they don't use the traditional parafin based wax lube. I use them in my S&W 627 and my G-17.
  17. Shooters earn a DQ, but it never feels good to award it. It doesn't get any easier as the years go by either, especially if it's a new shooter. That's always the worst feeling. March on.
  18. 3.2 grains of Clays Universal with a Federal primer chronos at 132.500 with very good shot to shot numbers. I've shot that load in my G-17 with a stock barrel for the last three years. The stock barrel was faster and more consistent at chrono, as well as more accurate than the Barsto barrel that I had fitted. Hope this helps.
  19. Congrats to Glenn and Kathy for a well run match with great staff. Congrats to all the winners, as well. I had a great time with the Bubber and the Gobers after the match having a few cold ones. Put this one down for next year.
  20. My first match in 1989. I sprayed 1/2 of a can of Rem oil down the muzzle end of the barrel in my Colt Officers Model right before the match. I have no idea why... But, I'd run out of all my ammo coming up on the last stage and had to go to my big, bad self-defense load. Remington 230 +p+. Well, anyway..as I shot the gun would throw oil onto my glasses..finally, the firing pin stop was sooooo oily that during that last stage I shot, it blew out of the gun and the firing pin shot out and hit me right between the eyes. Mix one part idiot Two parts, Rem oil One part Colt And.... KA-BAM!
