  1. Area 7 match did the same sort of limited initial entry period to allow Area 7 residents a shot at actually getting in the match before it sold out to those from other areas.
  2. http://czcustom.com/czgripsallongblackthintex.aspx These?
  3. Shooters Connection has the red 4g's in stock.
  4. Shooters meeting will be at 7:30, and we go hot at 8. Our registration guy will be sending out an email as well. Better update the website, times are a little different there. http://www.bgslinc.com/modules.php?name=BGSL_Sport_IPSC&file=page&load=Battle%20in%20the%20Bluegrass.html
  5. Powder Valley has had N105 in stock for a while now.
  6. If it's a true USPSA match, USPSA rules trump club rules. Rule 3.3
  7. I replaced my stock front sight in my Shadow Target with the Dawson .195 tall sight and point of impact remained the same. Pretty sure you are going to have to get your slide milled on the Accu to run that rear sight. I think the Accu uses the shadow cut in the slide and the Bo-mar style uses an LPA cut.
  8. I still see mistakes in results, and fortunately that stuff is generally fixed right away without anyone accusing anyone else of cheating, lol. Even then, rule 9.8.3 states you only have one hour at the end of the match to appeal the mistake and after that the score stands as is.
  9. You do need to activate the swinger, even if it's after you're done shooting because according to 9.9.3, "Moving scoring targets will always incur failure to shoot at and miss penalties if a competitor fails to activate the mechanism which initiates the target movement." I'm not saying this necessarily makes sense...but that's how I'm reading 9.9.3... Not so fast. How could you activate it after you are done shooting? Once the command "range is clear" is given, that is the end of the course of fire (8.3.8). Now if you walked back to the activator prior to that, I can understand. That implies you safely retreated to that point, at which time you might have surprised yer RO. Correct. Safely back to activator, activate, then unload and show clear. Watch some videos of this years Florida Open, you'll see what I'm talking about. Tori almost screwed it up here. https://youtu.be/9qPX9TDDDFM https://youtu.be/Bvw9dZEW3ic
  10. Makes more sense now. So it would apply to a max trap/clam that had the target fully covered by the no shoot target. Basically a dissapering target then?
  11. It's like the swinger on stage 1 at the Florida Open. Someone figured out you could shoot it while at rest from a port later in the stage but you still had to go back and stomp the bear trap to activate it after you were done shooting.
  12. Next time you could just activate it after you are done shooting the stage. It won't add any more time since it's from the last shot fired.
  13. That WOULD be a problem. It's called cheating! Please clarify for explanation sake. Not disagreeing with you, just want a little more than "it's cheating". 5.2.5.3 - Equipment on belt can not be moved or CHANGED during the match.

  15. http://www.pasapark.com/production/ Close to the bottom of the page, it says staff application forms will be available at the match website on March 1st.
  16. Interesting... I have 7 of the Mec Gar 10 rounders from Greg Cote and they work like a dream in my Shadow SP-01. Another guy at the club has some also that he runs in his Accushadow with no issues also. I prefer them over the CZ 10 round mags.
  17. Used a 147gr FP Bayou bullet at 1.135" with Federal and Winchester brass and a WSP primer. This is just a test of some different powders I have. My normal load is with N320 and I use 3.3gr for approx 130 pf.
  18. Another way to check is assemble the slide with the spring and push the guide rod and compress the spring. If the head of guide rod touches back of tunnel, good to go. If it stops short, coils need to be cut.
  19. I check all my recoil springs for coil bind and clip them accordingly so they are ready to roll when I need them. Even in non stroked guns this can be an issue. In my Edge, ISMI 14# springs were good to go out of the package but the 12.5# springs all needed a coil or two clipped off.
  20. I had very similar results to Pete.

  22. I got an email from them recently talking about BJ joining them, makes me wonder if they're gonna dabble in 3 gun this year. Which would be great of course, more big name companies that are known for quality products supporting the sport can't be a bad thing. Could they be finally joining the limited/open club now that the STI patent has expired?I think he's shooing that Wilson/Beretta thing in production from what I've read.
  23. I could only load the flat points to 1.105" in mine. Tried both profiles.
  24. 1.095" oal with the round nose 147 blue bullets was the longest I could go in my Shadow. I can load the Bayou 147 FP out to 1.130" no problem.
  25. Could the trigger bow be dragging on the magazine? Maybe trigger bow is a little out of dimension.
