  1. We always need more movies. I watched an entire season of '24' in 3 days. That's Tuff Stuff! I tried to do it THAT in two weekends and I was a nervous wreck! FM
  2. That is what I was thinking; use lighter bullets. Thanks for the spring advice. FM
  3. Right! But I like the idea of anyone can win with an S_I but you have to be good to win with a Caspian! And I like Caspian because I don't want to be like the rest of the herd. TT=Good Man with a Good Gun. FM

    Hi

Nigel, is that you ? (Red 5 = "The Lion") FM
  5. 36% here; wish I could have avoided somethings growing up! FM
  6. Isn't it about time for Shred to chime in and tell us what is wrong and the correct way to fix it! FM
  7. I thought this was going to be a 3N37 thread! FM
  8. I too am interested. My plan is to use my SS for Steel Challenge type events. I am using 230 grain bullets and Titegroup. FM

    Hi

Nigel Mansell is that you? FM
  10. Roger that on Fine Home Building and don't forget the Journal of Light Construction! Both have good web sites especially JLC! FM
  11. As far as I know you can carry open in every county but Douglas County in Nebraska. I miss that! FM
  12. When your that good you can make a come back any time! FM
  13. Ivan, If I get preloaded in the PO'd position every shooter gets A's! Shoot fast! FM
  14. My furnace might as well be outdoors and I go through about three a year. I always have two back ups in my safe (more controlled enviroment) and use disposable rubber gloves when I change them. They are pretty eroded when they get changed, kind of like an electrode on an old spark plug. My installer and I were thinking propane might be eroding them faster than natural gas. Any info would be welcome. FM As Carol's kids (the two who are in HVAC) would say --- it might be time to hire a professional..... Around here you'll get better work from amatuers. And no call backs, it will get done right the first time. The "professionals" here will come and charge you by the hour and leave the problem unfixed or worse than before they arrived. FM
  15. It makes me mad enough to just score them as two A hits. FM
  16. Jackie Brown was a darned good movie. I need to see it again, soon. FM
  17. You have to get rid of the pre-match nerves. That can be easier said than done. I like to stay hungry. I feel more agile and focused. But your blood sugar/metabolisim is probably different than mine. FM
  18. I didn't have very good luck with the Radio Shack batteries. But when you live in the sticks a Radio Shack is a life saver. At least they have them! FM
  19. Head shots that don't get changed between squads. Nothing but a glob of pasters for the last shooters. FM
  20. I hope I can do this one Stingerman! Good to hear from you! FM
  21. For what ever reason I keep coming back to N-350. The gun is a 5" with six a six port comp straight up. No funny holes in the barrel/slide and N-350 works well with 115 or 125 GRN bullets. But I'm an C class open shooter too. FM
  22. Shred is right but under crimping has severe issues too. FM
  23. I have both Wilson and CMC and niether have let me down but I prefer the CMC and the flat steel follower for some reason. I'll take a Wilson off a prize table or something; but when it comes to my money I'll buy the CMC. JMHO YMMV FM
  24. An Aimpoint on your rifle has got to be the way to go if it is legal. I can't get a sharp focus on my 5" SS anymore so I have an idea about what your talking about. FM
