  1. Everyone on our squad was a little nervous with the steel that close but Roger That on the moving targets! We couldn't see them for the sand storm anyway! Good Times! FM
  2. Looks like it was as windy Osceola as Pueblo West! You may have had the humidity, but you didn't have the heat and dust to deal with. FM
  3. I just finished washing the other half out of my range bag, magazines and gun! I do not even want to talk about the classifier! Adverse conditions make great memories. BTW. why were the classifier targets set so close to that steel fence? Good times though; whe do we do it again! FM
  4. As close as you live to the venue, it will be the least expensive National you could ever shoot. You can probably even drive home one night! I drove 2800+ miles round trip to my one and only National. Good Times! Maybe the problem is you live too close. BTW; last weekend I drove 1300+ miles round trip to a sectional. Match entry money was the cheapest part of the trip! FM
  5. I had a great time! Wish I could have met you and the other forum members! I was on Squad 2 and enjoyed meeting and working with every one of them. FM
  6. Well, I did a good job of kicking my own ass. Great stages and great people! Now how do I clean all of my gear! FM
  7. It's all about the money. That's why you get speeding tickets leaving a state, not entering a state. (With out of state plates.) FM
  8. The Jim Davis Gun Museum is up the road in Clairemore. You need a good chunk of the day to see it and it is worth seeing. That is an understatement. FM
  9. I'd ask Jim Anglin if he would consider building one; he's pretty good with the Caspain magazines! FM
  10. Thanks for the info guys. I'll lube my blaster as usual and I always keep my mags dry. There is actually a chance I won't be able to make it because of my job. Even though I told them in January. I'd say it's about 50/50 right now. But I am packing to go! FM
  11. I will get the sunblocker today! I hate getting sunburned and I haven't even started to tan this year. Thanks BritinUSA! FM
  12. Should I keep everything clean and dry like we were shooting at the Washoe range in Nevada? FM
  13. Wow! I had never seen those Stingerman and I go to their web site a lot! The C-MORE is OK but it needs to be mounted as low as possible; I hate having aiming high on close head shoots to get A's No upper A zones here; they are head shots! Stay Safe Stingerman! Hope to see you soon! FM
  14. Unless it will ride as low or lower than your Serendipity you will be frustrated. FM
  15. What timing tool? The thing I thought you were supposed to use to pound the pins out with! Dillion will send you one FOC! FM
  16. Cool! I own a pin gun and forgot about it! It became my Single Stack but I still have the open .45 top end. Now what happened to all of those PDP3's I used to have? FM
  17. I'm with Harmon; I wouldn't have one on my rig either. That is what the front and rear serrations are for. FM
  18. I think you need to check the shell plate using the timing tool that I didn't knew existed until a few months a go. At least that is where I would start. It made a world of difference in my productivity. Along with a new bell crank! FM
  19. When I build mine I am going to use ANTI-SEIZE. In theory it is the only way to get a true torque reading off of a torque wrench. FM
  20. Anything High Standard. My Supermatic Citation is one of my firearms I will never part with. The geometry may be close to a 1911 but the controls are not. It may have the finest trigger in my safe and the Supermatic Citation is box stock! FM
  21. I am using Safariland's that are so old they don't have a model number (unless it's a seven digit number) but they are adjustable from vertical. They probably have little value but I wouldn't sell them just to get something different either. Safariland would be the first place I would look for new SS magazine holders. YMMV FM
  22. I wish all of my Caspian magazines were long enough to roll the inside rails out for the Dawson Pad. Great work Jim, it is the best Caspian magazine in my bag regardless of capacity! All of my magazines funtion but Jim's is the only one that "feels" cool to load or unload. Thanks Jim! FM
