  1. Anyone try 4756 with 230 JHP's? FM
  2. Right! While some of us are studing the Bible and such others need to see women dancing to music. It may be part of their prematch routine and that allows them to extract maximum performance on race day. Maybe I will try it someday; just to see if it helped or not. FM
  3. PV rules, been with them since they were in Dexter. Where else could you get advice and order on a Saturday? Wish I could shoot more so I could do more business with them. FM
  4. You are right they should be the same; I really never tought about that. So is everyone amped on the fisrt string and being conservative on the second string? Now I don't think times tell the whole story; it could be the points involved on a case by case basis. FM
  5. My set up is like RTR's but the 12 mag isn't completely horizontal; there is some angel. The only thing that sucks about this set up is if you have to go prone extra hard. I hate laying on my mag carrier. But maybe it's GOOD to go prone extra hard? FM
  6. I shoot it today and saw the same thing as I kept score. It wasn't just a couple of shooters it was a lot of them. What in the world is up with that? FM
  7. Another thing I like about Mobile One is I don't have to order it, ship it or go to a special store it. It is everywhere. FM
  8. I am fired up. It's going to be tough to pull the trip off but I am hell bent on going. Thanks RTR! FM
  9. Edwin, I would like to try the Limcat. No one around here has one to even look at. I would try everything if I didn't have to buy them to find out if they worked or not. FM
  10. Loves2 Shoot has it right. Fiber Optic front sites are just something else to sell for vendors and such. I discovered I could manipulate my mag release easier uninstalled on my Hi-Cap. I don't have big hands either; but that is an ergonomic issue, your milage may vary. Save money for ammunition and education. FM
  11. I use Merrells as well. Not perfect for any one condition, but perfect for all around traction and traction transititions. And did I mention they are comfortable to wear all day? FM
  12. I am with Eric Nielsen. Short guns, short comps=Adkins Diet. JMHO FM
  13. I couldn't believe Bluetooth wasn't even available for my new Gateway Tablet. I outfiited it with the largest battery they had and would higly recommend up grading to a large battery for any laptop. The large battery increased ventilation, enhanced keyboard ergonomics and makes for a nice carrying handle. FM
  14. That ad was extra special. Hope they can set the pace for the others. FM
  15. I really like my new Gateway Tablet (convertable 14"widescreen) but didn't like the way it was sold to me. If I could do it all over again my new and first laptop would have been an IBM/Lenovo Z-60M. If I get the zip file documents I want, the Gateway will be the right choice for me. IBM/Lenovo is the only laptop that will retain any resale value; at least at this point in history. JMHO FM
  16. A friend of mine was having surgery and lent me his new S_I for a couple of weeks along with his Ghost. The gun and holster were awesome, if I had an S_I I would own a Ghost. I own a Caspian with a squared trigger and they don't work with a damn no matter how much you play with the nylon adjustments. I dropped the gun (my Caspian) from my own Ghost several times in practice and stayed with my 009 (talk about Old School). CR Speed will be my next holster, but I really like being able to run without something touching my leg. FM
  17. Nothing against any product including our very own forum provider BE; but I use Mobile 1/Kroil for most everything firearm related. I do need to try Slide Glide out of curiosity though! FM
  18. I don't take new brass to a major match. New brass needs to be shot and sorted through. You will have a certain (and small) % of junk brass per thousand and I don't care which brand one buys. That just goes with high volume manufacturing. For a tournament I would take brass shot about 3X. Should have anything bad thrown out by then. JMHO FM Saves $ too!
  19. Cool! I found out my sisters house is just a few miles from the range! Thanks Jerry! Are you going? FM
  20. Looks like there is enough room left over for a his and hers walk in safe! FM
  21. +1 I'm using a 12moa and I really like it. Single Stack, I used to like 12 MOA and larger dots on Tasco PDP3's They were perfect for paper at 50 yards; I should try a huge dot on my CMORE. FM
  22. C-More. Call Chuck at Shooters Connection; he will get you set up. I'm with Eric on the six or eight minute dot. FM
