I haven't been to a Super Cross since I quit racing. Sure was fun. Bob Hanna Bob! You needed an H at the end of your last name! If I had your name my forum name would have been "THE HURRICANE"! FM
  2. How can you shoot it more than you should? I want to build two and thanks for the idea of using skids instead of wheels! FM

Larry, I heard the drought was REAL BAD. We are in a really isolated drought up here. I was wrong about the Dallas SX, it's next Saturday night. FM
  4. I know but I try to support our local FFL holders. And it's tuff stuff to spend more than you know you have to. I don't want FFL elimination forcing me to make purchases at the other Big Boxes either. Can you imagine only being able to buy our stuff at Scheels or Bass Pro? FM
  5. I hate criminal invaders waving flags from a foriegn nation. And the people that don't do anything about it. FM
  6. My broker loved the Story. You can not get rich without enrichening others. (My Spelling Sucks) That is from Earl Nightingale, the Dean of Personal Development. FM
  7. I would rather pay more at a true FFL holder engaged in the sale of firearms and related items than a general store. Nebraska used to have more FFL holders than gas stations. Good times. FM

Dallas Super Cross is Saturday night! Wish I was there. FM
  9. I have both sizes; one each. It is slick to have one for cleaning dirty cases with corn and cleaning newly loaded ammo with crushed (fine) walnut with the other. FM
  10. OK, I found the stuff; it is Loctite "KLEAN 'N PRIME". Item # 37509, an Activator for Anerobic Adhesives. The Primer makes all the difference. I use it with 271. You just can't go by the color, visit their web site some day. FM2BED
  11. I think I use 242, it is red regardless of the number. The secret is to use the primer. You have to get the female threads really clean (alchol, laquer thinner, or brake cleaner) let it dry and spray the Loctite primer into the holes. Let the primer dry and reassemble with red loktite. Get the primer! I accidently found it at our local John Deere dealer. The hardware stores didn't carry it. They may call it something else; I'll check when I get home. FM
  12. I was hoping it was going to be a nice lady with some 38 SUPERS for a "Top End"! That's a "nice" size. FM
  13. Escrow.com gives it away. If you have money in it seek legal counsel. FM
  14. The Realtor "R" is the hardest working letter in the Alphabet. FM
  15. The change kills me I wish we could pick one and never change again! It takes me weeks to adjust. I liked DST year around when Nixon was in office. JMHO FM
  16. Everyone thinks I'm an idiot (at our club) because I like N-350 over 7625. I've burned a lot of 3N37, some WW540 and 7625 and always come back to N-350. It's what I like and that is all it is. Keep in mind I don't get to shoot enough for powder prices to effect my economy. If you like N-340 but think it is too expensive try ther try the powders close to that burn rate on the chart. I would like to try N-340 in my open gun but don't have time to fiddle with it. Back to work! FM
  17. COOL SITE! I really liked all of the range images too! I didn't look at any of the images of Drop Dead gourgeous women. Nope, not me! FM
  18. Not a Dumb Question. I think FO make the FS to busy. But I only shoot outdoors and can only see with my own two eyes. (Most everyone on this Forum would out shoot me too!) FM
  19. Way cool web site! You could be in for a Good Run! FM
  20. And I don't live but just ten miles from HWY 75. It's just that I live about 300 miles North of the Range! FM
  21. Welcome to THE forum! Your journey has just begun! SS for now, hi-cap something later? And you will need one of those blue things BE sells soon! FM
  22. I wish my work allowed me time off to go. I could shoot Open/Senior as I turn fifty in September. I hope anyway! FM
  23. If it is a genuine crack no hard chroming is going to fix it. I cracked two of them (bad bar stock) my builder just replaced them. Haven't had any issues in years after we got one made out of good steel. I've never had a cracked slide. (I use Caspian slides) I actually shot the first one off getting ready for the one and only National I ever shot. Time was an issue and my builder stepped up to the plate and took care of business. Good Times! FM
