Get your business in order and get out. Get all of your credit cards zeroed out, save enough money to live for at least 6 months. Go talk to your insurance agent about health insurance so you don't loose your house if you get real sick or have a bad accident. (Have at least 1 year worth of reloading components in stock too.) It's extra nice to have a newer vehicle with low miles paid off before you quit too. Have some work lined before you quit so you don't have a gap in your employment, while actually looking for your next "real" job. Employment gaps are a huge red flag. I thought I deserved a six month vacation from a job I got fired from in 1996 and I had plenty of money saved up. That was a huge mistake as the "system" didn't like the gaps when I started looking again. But it was fun being a range bum for the rest of that year and I finished 2 OA, Open, at OOPS that year. FM

I had to give up my club membership just because of the cost of round trip travel. (72 miles) Life was good when gas was a $1.47 per gallon and bullets were "reasonable". FM

Mine were $45 September 13, 1994 and they are now $85 retail? If they were like new I'd ask 15% off of retail and go down to $45 (or less, depending what ever your position is) for bottom dollar. Go for the HAP's Yukon; they're XTP's without the serrations is what I'm told. Hornady blems are better than anyone else's non blem bullets. What else are you going to do in the middle of Nebraska; other than make the best bullets in the world? FM

Powder Valley Inc. has a 160 grain bullet, .451 in diameter, Barnes bullet called the 45 GAP. I don't know anything about Barnes bullets or why they would market it just for the GAP. FM

The cotter key might be worth checking out. The opening and closing of the clam shell will wear a grove in the key eventually. FM

It's my understanding that the Chevy half ton diesels will be a lot smaller than the Duramax that's been available the past several years in 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I could see my self with a heavy half ton with a smaller diesel, four doors, 4x4 Chevy that gets as good or better milage than my Tacoma 6 cylinder. White or silver please! FM

Do to the lack of floor space in my reloading room, I would rather have a wall mounted Akro bin hanger. The Sam's club bin rack does look sano though! FM
