That doesn't sound right. My doctor was former army, did his time doing LASIK for special forces guys.. I think those guys are shooters.. I'd look into that more.. I just had PRK done 4 weeks ago and asked this question. My doctor, Dr. Imperia has done 100,000+ of these and said there was no significant difference or risk between PRK / LASIK. I went from legally blind (-10.15 / -10.75) to 20/30 in both eyes in 4 weeks. They do say that it takes 3-6 months for the eyes to heal up though. I'll be getting a light prescription to get back to 20/20 even though I could have it done again for free. My profession requires safety glasses and prefer to have prescription because plastic safety glasses suck. Total inclusive cost (including follow up) was $4500.00 and most health care plans do not cover a dime. For me, it was a huge difference. If I was 20/40 or a light prescription to begin with I would not have done it. I did it with a fairly light prescription and couldn't be happier. If I hadn't done it I would probably be wearing tri-focals instead of stylin' shooting glasses and I don't have a restriction on my drivers license now. If I were looking at a Truebor, I would get the blued one. It's cheaper and would be easier for someone to reconfigure after you decide what you really want later. Guess the same would apply to the other builders too. FM

Not a dumb ass question! I just measured mine with the RL stamp and it was 3.85ish. So you do have the rimless. If I had a brand new batch of Armscor brass, I'd clean it before I loaded it. It is OK stuff if the price is right. FM

Sure, if I can use my tuned S_I mags in a caspian I actually like the S_I better because the grip isn't as long (or feels shorter) as the Caspain. Sorry for thread drift. FM

I checked out my friends Iphone last Friday night and it is really cool, but BlackBerry does everything I need right now. A professional journal I subscribe to said to wait for the next generation of Iphones as the bugs will be worked out. I don't remember what they thought the problems were. My buddy really likes his but agreed they were more for entertainment than business. FM

The last SC match I shoot at our club I forgot my belt/holster/mag carriers. I just grabbed a 5 gallon bucket, turned it upside down and drew off of that about 25 times; it was a great training session! FM

I think we need to get Denise Milani shooting first. And then I'll by a Fathead of THAT! FM
