    CZ TSO holster

FYI, for the DAA inserts, the TSO insert will only fit that thinner trigger guard, but the Czechmate insert will fit both, it just isn’t a tight fit and has some side to side and a bit of fore-aft play. The CM one locks up really tightly, the TSO insert fits the thin trigger guard decently well but it’s not as solid as the CM, and the CM insert with thin guard is the sloppiest of the three combos. I’m debating getting rid of my TSO insert and just keeping the CM one so I don’t have to swap back and forth depending on if I’m shooting my TSO or CM (or get to a match with my CM and find out I forgot to swap and it won’t fit my holster. The wobble isn’t too bad, it almost feels like it self centers when I’m drawing, kind of lick the reloading dies in a Forster Coax. I’m going to spend some time dry firing with it and shoot a match with it to see if it actually impacts my draw much.
  2. If it cocks the hammer all the way, yes, but the question here is about half cock.
  3. What setup are you using to get 22? If I trimmed my CZC springs by half a coil I could cram 21 in my mags, but I don't see where you'd get the extra round.
  4. Special Condition #1 in the Appendix D for Prod/CO states: And there is no definition in the appendix that defines cocked as "not down", so I see this as being the same as manually decocking a safety model DA/SA to half cocked and holstering; it would be inconsistent for the situation in discussion to be a DQ and not a bump to open.
  5. I stopped using pins for tumbling pistols cases too and it makes the process substantially nicer since I don't have to shake out the pins or worry about dropping them down the sink when rinsing the cases. As long as the outside is clean the press is going to run fine. I typically do 15 minutes tumbling with just water to get the bulk of the dirt/dust off, fill it back up with clean water, dish soap, and Lemishine and tumble for 1.5 hours before a final rinse. For drying I use a Hornady case dryer that I got for free, but all those case dryers are just glorified food dehydrators for 2-3x the price, so just pick up the cheapest dehydrator on Amazon (although that Frankford one does look very nice). Mine fits an entire Frankford tumbler's worth of brass and everything is dry in 2 hours.
  6. Oooooh that’s weird. That seems like a machining error, Springer should give you a new one. If not, you could probably shim the front of the magazine a bit to get the magazine back a little.

Working for me now. Painfully slow as always.
  8. How many rounds do you get when down loaded? Have you taken a look inside without any springs so you can see where the tolerance issue is?
  9. Has anyone tried out the SP 170mm extensions for the TS/CM magazines? Do they work well? Do they fit the CZC magwell? I hear a lot of people have reliability issues with the big stick 9mm mag that require tuning and I'm wondering if using the standard bodies with the extension mitigates that issue. It's also a way cheaper route to a 170mm mag at <$100 total vs $180+ for the big stick + CZC 170mm extension and spring/follower kit. Would love to hear about any experiences with them.

Awesome! It worked for me. Thanks for stepping up and getting it fixed!
  11. Picking up/storing/cleaning brass can be a pain that many people don't want to deal with as well. No one is hitting 10cpr if they don't have a free source of brass. All the equipment and supplies can take up a fair amount of space too if you don't have a dedicated workroom or at least a workbench. Projectiles are the main cost of loading though, so as long as you can get a good deal on those (which will require buying in 2-3k quantities most likely) then you should be able to get loading costs in the 12cpr range even if you aren't buying powder/primers in bulk. Syntech is rarely under 20cpr, so if that's what you shoot then there are definitely going to be savings for you even if you aren't waiting around for the very best deal. I think for a lot of people reloading is less about saving money and more about being able to afford to shoot more for the same amount of money.

I do have some stuff I'd like to order, so if anyone figures it out, I'd love to know...
  13. Do you have pictures of the modifications you made?
  14. I would believe this. If they want to branch out to non-competition shooters then they need to increase visibility, and getting them into shops is one of the only real ways to do that so people can actually handle them. Anecdotal, but I have literally never seen a Tanfo in a gun shop; the only people I know with Tanfos shoot USPSA. Conversely, almost every single gun shop I've stepped into in the last year has a Shadow 2 on display, and I know a ton of non-competition shooters that have a Shadow 2.

Oh, I think this is a promo for nationals competitors only... Random gibberish codes say "Not a valid promotion code", but USPSA2019 says "A coupon number is required". Did they hand something out at Nationals?

Was this yesterday only? It's not working for me on shop.cz-usa.com or czcustom.
  17. Gallant is 10% off if you do the subscription option. Works out to 7.8 cents per bullet for the 180s when ordering in the 2500 count. You can set up the subscription deliveries to be every 1-3 month and then skip some to get a every 4 or 6 month schedule if needed.
  18. Other posts I found suggested they are in between Federal and Winchester in softness and don't have issues with lighter hammer springs. I usually stock up on Winchester SPPs when Brownells has their 1 cent hazmat with free shipping, but I'm down to <2k SPPs at the moment so decided to take advantage of Midsouth's free hazmat on the 12k case quantity; it was the cheapest option I found for SPPs. Any one know how they hold up to 9mm Major loads?
  19. Any idea if it will be drilled and tapped for the factory adjustable thumb rest?
  20. The way to do it would be to loop over all possible member numbers, try to access uspsa.org/classification/{memberNumber}, and scrape the html in the Classification table. There are python libraries for scraping html and Pandas can convert directly from a html table to a DataFrame. Here's a tutorial: https://towardsdatascience.com/web-scraping-html-tables-with-python-c9baba21059 Shouldn't be too difficult to figure out, just make sure you handle bad requests from invalid member numbers and put in a time.sleep() call so you don't crash the USPSA website. If you/no one else does it before this weekend, I'll give it a try.

    TS Orange 9mm

They are awesome out of the box. The only improvement I would do right away is blend the grip opening with the mag well. With the mag well on the mags sit below flush, so extensions of some sort are nearly mandatory. If you want to keep the orange aesthetic, Springer Precision offers orange ones that come with grams followers.
  22. They don't seem to have it on their website, does anyone else make a mount for the 510c that fits the Czechmate?
  23. Gallant does a good job of securing the package from my experience. Plenty of tape for the larger quantities and as @TravisB_02 said, there is a heavy duty plastic bag inside to keep things contained. Substantially better than where I was ordering from before. Haven't had any issues with spillage from them.
