  1. Never played with .40 open or just a barrel weight (I’m guessing you are talking about a barrel with a comp. blank installed?), but I know that with 9mm minor a comp make a big difference over a heavier gun. I have an Edge in 9mm and shooting minor through it vs. an Open gun there is a noticeable difference.
  2. SV for me. Have the SV Signatire on one pistol and thought I'd try the Evo on another. Mistake for me as they are definately different. I'll likely be selling the Evo and buy another SV grip.
  3. I tried a couple of Razors on Open guns frame mounted and they didn't like it. They would shut down when the gun was fired. Put piece of rubber band under battery terminal to tighten up connection and was marginally better. I used the warranty a couple of times and they replaced the dot with a new one each time, but new ones acted the same. Moved the Razor red dots to AR handguard and a shotgun where they are holding up just fine. Now I have 2 DPP dots and no problems. If they wouldn't hold up being frame mounted I would have serious doubts about puting them on a slide.
  4. Shoot it left handed and see what happens. (or right handed if you are a lefty)
  5. I'm going to have to look into that 1 time use number with Citi. My card has been hacked a couple of times and bullet orders were placed the month before on each occasion. I though I was kinda reaching, but might be something to it. Thanks
  6. I run a Matchmaster for 3 gun with minor ammo typically. I also have a couple of 5 inch guns that are definately softer shooting , but I don't know that one is really better than the other for match performance. The shorter gun seems handier especially with lighter ammo and runs great. If I were starting over again I would go with the 5 inch guns and not look back.
  7. Depends on your stock. I am using an HS Precision. http://accurate-mag.com/bottom-metals/
  8. It happens, especially with the factory mags. I switched to Accurate Mag bottom metal that uses AI type magazines to solve the issue and works great.
  9. No code. I just went there and the prices shown were reduced. 155s are $131 and 170s were $145ish
  10. Mine gets stuck all the way to the rear. At first I thought it was the brass being fed getting stuck on the next case coming down, but now I'm 90% sure it's the shuttle hanging up on the next case coming down. Definitely not making it to the shell plate. I ground the bevel a little farther left and extended it to a more gradual taper, which helped. Now I'm down to maybe 2 or 3 times per hundred rounds. Kinda hard to see under there to be certain. It does not seem to be related to any certain headstamp and is not .380 brass in the mix causing it. update: I just went and ran 200 rounds without a hitch, so might have problem solved with any luck.
  11. Mine is brand new a month ago. Nothing worn or broken yet.
  12. I am having the same trouble. Called Dillon and guy I talked to had no clue what was going on. I extended and polished the beveled area on top of the shuttle. That helped a lot as it only happens a couple of times per hundred cases now.
  13. Nordic makes a small diameter round handguard specifically for rimfires and anything without a gas system. https://nordiccomp.com/categories/nc-small-diameter-hand-guard-for-nc22-and-ar22/
  14. Have you tried anything besides Wolf brass? I remember getting a bunch of that in some used brass I bought and remember having enough trouble with it I sorted it out and scrapped it. Get some LC and see what happens.
  15. Don't second guess yourself on the RTS2. Reading threads on this forum tells me there is no perfect sight as they can all have issues. My DP Pro has been perfect for a year now and I think I changed the battery once just because. My 6 month old RTS2 seems to flake out every month or so needing a new battery. It will either shut down while shooting or the dot does some crazy stuff like flashing that resembles static.
  16. I really don't understand the purpose in those offset mounts.
  17. My major load for the G17 was 6.8 WAC, 124 jhp, 1.145 oal. Gave me 172 pf
  18. I do, but not home right now.
  19. I was loading 124s with WAC for a G17 Open gun when I had it. HS6 worked fine as well, but remember more consistent results with WAC. Really don't remember my data or I'd post it.
  20. Open or Unlimited for guns with dots. With 3 guns involved there are too many possibilities for too many divisions. Just my opinion.
  21. My carbine with a JP barrel like Precision Delta 115 jhp much better than any other bullet I have tried in it. I get groups under 2" at 100 yards consistently. It's my minor load for multigun and steel matches in my Open pistols with 5.5 of WAC loaded to 1.135.
  22. All of mine are throated. No reason to have one that is not. Of course, I own a throating reamer as well
  23. Swivel front is the way to go. I have both and always take the one with the swivel front wheel.
  24. A local match had a 35 round stage a couple of years ago, but he allowed the shooter to place ammo on the barrels on the stage if desired because he knew not everyone could carry that many.
