  1. that's interesting. the R3 has constant problems with the buttons. I'd assume that they use the same circuit board and buttons.
  2. I had this problem with the GG trigger kit. I called them, the guy knew right away what I was talking about and sent me a new sear. Problem solved.
  3. Not really, the guy should be more realistic about his wait times. He’s running nearly double what he advertises.
  4. I just received the order I placed on October 11th. 4 months 2 weeks. the web site states 10 weeks, it’s way off..
  5. its basically one guy making the timers in his spare time.
  6. Mine runs mostly fine. I have an automated apex. The most important thing I’ve found is it must be clean. Once you get any powder or primer residue under the disk, the problems start. also I’ve found that cci primers run best, federal and Winchester are much more finicky. I usually do a 2k reloading session with minimal problems.
  7. I’ve bought 3. The first 2 we’re right around 2-3 months. The last one was 6 months.

    OFFSET Mag Release

The fact that you had the products before release and are very active talking them up on various internet sites. And also the fact that the person that answers emails at aligntactical is also named Joel A.

dude, you are clearly closely associated with this company, and that’s not a bad thing. But, when you are all over the internet pretending like you are some super satisfied customer, it makes whatever you say look self serving and disingenuous.
  10. People are too fussy about how the trigger feels in dry fire. In a match shooting fast you can’t even tell if there is pre travel or not.

I think it’s too easy to pinch your thumb in the lock back cutout of the slide. I have a pretty good blister there after 500 rounds yesterday.

    OFFSET Mag Release

I had already removed the small lip in the indentation for the thumb test because it caught on the *thumb rest [generic]* rest. I’m not sure if the align thumb rest would catch there or not, I’d guess yes.

guinea pig for what? if it fits in a GX holster? it does.
  14. No you didn’t, but you did humble brag about using the same one for 14 years. Strongly implying that they don’t wear out.
  15. I don’t think it’s as big of a deal with jacketed bullets.
  16. They absolutely do wear out. It’s very noticeable when using an automated press and coated bullets. Bullets will start tipping and getting shaved while seating. Replace the funnel, problems go away..
  17. The MBF funnels wear out. I used to replace them every 40-50k
  18. You need to use the original slide. That’s where the difference is.
  19. Not really for 147gr. I’ve used both and there was no appreciable difference. In the end when I was running a legion upper I switched to 135gr, which was better but not great.
  20. You likely won’t be happy with the accuracy from a 147gr coated bullet if you are shooting an X5 legion. A standard X5 will be ok though.
  21. I soak the grip in acetone overnight. Scrape off the worn out silicon carbide and reapply.
