  1. *edit* decided it wasn’t worth having this argument over the internet.
  2. If he ordered in Nov of last year, he’s way past the time where he could have disputed it with his CC company. Most Cc companies are 90 days max, some are as little as 30 days. He’s essentially at the mercy of PT.
  3. The MSRP has always been $699. Street price going up is more of a supply demand thing.
  4. Here is a video of how loose the gun fits in the holster. This is with the lower adjustment screw reefed down, and about half of max on the retention dial. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CijOcBNA3uv/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  5. I’ve lost count on how many I’ve sent in for this issue. It’s over 10. That said, I’ve been using them since they were released and have many thousands of rounds through them. I’d say that they tend to fail in the 10-25k range. Some last longer than others, but chance of failure is 100% over time. one thing I’ve done to prolong the life of the buttons is, I no longer turn the optic off. With the Motion activated on/off, I haven’t noticed any difference in battery life. If you’re one of those guys that turns to dot on/off every stage, you’re greatly reducing the time between repairs. all that said, they need to fix this. The optic has been out several years now, it’s scary to think about how many they warranty for this issue.
  6. The gun rattles around in the holster a ton. Not sure how I feel about that.
  7. The one on the left is the X5 slide
  8. Dryfire is what causes the spring to be crushed. The striker is designed to hit the the primer and stop. With no ammo in the gun, the striker continues forward and puts extra compression on the reset spring. it’s bad design for sure, but it’s engineered to function with live rounds, not dryfire. I’d bet that for 99% of p320 owners, it will never be an issue. the gun still functions perfectly fine, I quit changing out this spring on my practice gun years ago.
  9. How much dryfire in the 1000 live rounds?
  10. This usually happens from dryfire. Makes absolutely no difference in the function of the gun, just looks funny.
  11. The weld spots your seeing are adjusting the pre/over travel. The main method of his trigger job is reshaping the striker/sear interface.
  12. Ive had TSA do multiple trigger jobs for me. they generally pull around 2-3lb. if yours is at more than that, something is wrong.
  13. When the p320 legion originally came out, it had a lighter striker spring relative to existing p320s. However, since then they all use the same, slightly lighter spring.
  14. its no different than the OEM slide.
  15. Button failure is pretty much inevitable
  16. The buttons are a constant problem. It’s the weak point of the optic. The buttons will slowly stop working right. They won’t work at all or they will move multiple brightness levels with one press. I’ve sent back countless r3s to sig. they are good about replacing them, but you’d think they would have addressed the problem by now, considering the optic has been around for 3 years.
  17. I recently received one of these. Unfortunately for me, although the hanger adjusts on every axis imaginable, the holster itself can’t be adjusted up as far as I’d like. also the hanger digs into my hip, even with the optional pads. that said, the thing is very well crafted and infinitely adjustable. If you like to wear your holster low it should work.
  18. The fcu has a mechanism that prevents taking the gun apart with a magazine inserted. Sometime when you reassemble you need to push up on the slide stop to deactivate this safety. Sounds like it’s functioning normally.
  19. Ive use them with no issues in a sig p320
  20. If sig used a tungsten weight it would double the cost of the grip module.
  21. Uhh…. That’s because it’s made of brass.
  22. There is no steel version. They are all brass with a grey coating. Don’t believe me? Put a magnet on them..
  23. Yes, if you scratch it, it’s yellow underneath.
