  1. The grip from one of my practice guns disagrees… I’ve never had a single issue in 4 years and 250k+ rounds
  2. You can take out quite a bit of material if you want. At the end I fill the remainder of the holes for the mag well with epoxy and sand it flat.

    Too much?

It’s made by Odin armory. They’ve been making a similar thumbrest for awhile, but I didn’t mess with it before because there were no holsters that worked and were USPSA legal. However the new DAA Max holster fits with minimal trimming.

    Too much?

It actually fits pretty nicely in the DAA max holster with a small modification.

    Too much?

Got a chance to try this thumbrest out, and I have to say I like it. It’s huge and fugly though.
  6. According to some on the internet the rune tactical follower will allow 24 rounds in a p320 mag I bought some to try out and they do fit 24 rounds, however it’s tight and I wouldn’t consider using them in a match. Im wondering I’d there is anyone out there with any experience after they’re broken in.

    DPP to X5

Broken screws are almost always from being loose.

    X5 Recoil Springs

Interesting. Never had or heard of anyone having that problem

    X5 Recoil Springs

‘I’ve never cracked the glass on a sight from just shooting. Tens of thousands of rounds with a 12lb spring. Are you sure this wasn’t just a coincidence?
  10. So, for the record, what’s the max round count you have on one single handgun?
  11. ‘I’ve had no issue with either Cci or win srp. However, I have had issues with primers seated too deeply, and not igniting. Anything over 0.010+ had a chance of giving me problems.
  12. According to your interpretation…
  13. So after looking at all the info, I have 2 sticking points. First, the rule book does not state that the EGW gauge is the only acceptable gauge. They way I read it is, the egw gauge is preferred, but not required. Since these mag extensions fit the EGW, but not other style gauges, that’s a problem. Also, the rules state that the gauge width extends to infinity. I know what I consider the width. But this is also left open to interpretation. One man’s width, could be another man’s height or length…. The entire problem is, you could show up at a major with these extensions and have a chance at being bumped to open, depending on how the RM reads the rule book. things like measurements should leave no room for interpretation.
  14. Sig stopped selling individual striker parts last year. They now only sell the complete assembly. Sometimes you can get the parts through other retailers, but it’s less common now. This is the main reason I stopped caring about it.

    Wear on P320/365 FCU?

It’s a nothing. There is nothing there, mostly likely it’s a strand of grease.
  16. The striker reset spring gets crushed from dry firing the gun. The striker is meant to stop once it hits a primer. With an empty chamber, it over compresses the spring and crushes it fairly quickly. A dead give away is if you see the striker poking out of the hole in the slide. I guess it could possibly ignite a round, when releasing the slide from slide lock. I don’t think it makes any difference in function. I gave up replacing the spring years ago.

    Wear on P320/365 FCU?

Here is a pic of the rail tab on a fcu with 97k live rounds and probably another 50k+ dry fire cycles. I don’t see anyone really wearing out a FCU.

    Wear on P320/365 FCU?

It wears everywhere there is metal to metal contact. But that is pretty much only the slide tabs. Does it look worn? More like, it looks used.. There is no appreciable difference visually, but im sure there would be a difference if I actually measured them.

    Wear on P320/365 FCU?

I’ve got one fcu over 100k, several over 50, and many over 20k. If you didn’t know beforehand, you’d never be able to tell the difference in how they shoot.
  20. Here are some pics that illustrate my point. Notice how it doesn’t fit into the springer gauge that measures the entire baseplate. But it does fit the egw gauge because the egw only measures half of the baseplate. If the egw measured the entire base plate it wouldn’t fit. IMO the magazine isn’t fully under 141.25mm.
  21. They definitely do not fit in a springer gauge, I know it’s not the official gauge, but like I’ve said I’ve seen them used at majors.
  22. Right, but I’ve been to majors, including at least 1 area match where they used a gauge that covered the entire bottom of the base. These extensions definitely would not pass those gauges. Seems like an easy arbitration, but also a huge hassle.
  23. I’ve been looking at the +2 mag extensions for the p320 by Henning. And I’m curious if anyone has had an issue with them passing equipment check. The extension is shaped in such a way that only the back portion of the mag fits in the gauge. This works because the gauge only measures the back portion. The front half of the extension has some ridges that are clearly too long to fit, if the gauge measured the entire bottom of the base pad. See attached pic. opinions or experiences?
  24. Did they specifically cut yours for the ftp?
