  1. So it looks like Sig may have finally done something about the weak button design on the Romeo3. I was looking at a new one I received recently and the buttons are clearly different. They are flatter and actually a bit harder to press. Fingers crossed that the buttons are a bit more durable now. optics mounted on the gun is old design, optic on right is the new.
  2. Looks like 2011, 1911s, minor power factor. Pretty much everything but frame mounted optic and comp allowed…
  3. It doesn't unbolt. its pressed together.
  4. Pretty much the only option is to bend it back. if you want to prevent it in the future, either download your mag by 1 if you’re going to be doing slide lock reloads, or take care not to insert it with too much force.
  5. Oil on the striker is more likely to cause malfunctions than help anything. Same thing goes for the FCU. Only thing that really needs lube is the slide rails. Everything else in unnecessary. People complain about how loosely fit the gun is, but it’s made to run pretty much dry. The only thing lube does is goo things up.
  6. I ended up grinding out the inside of a Taran basepad, and now it works. I don’t think they’ll work with 24 unmodified.
  7. I’m able to get 24 into a 21 round p320 mag with a Taran basepad. However to get a usable 24, I had to grind out the inside of the basepad. There still seems to be plenty of material left, but a drop onto a hard surface or object may be questionable.
  8. I go 25 on direct milled optics. 15 on plates. Plates strip out much easier
  9. Have you had a problem with the mag release?
  10. The only thing that’s likely to break on the range is the takedown lever.

    Too much?

It’s all subjective, however, most people would consider it more than a “little cutting” when you start hacking structural parts off the hanger….

A little cutting? Looks like you had to cut off a good bit of the holster, including one of the mounting points on the boss hanger.

    Too much?

No idea, it doesn’t fit the holster.

    Too much?

he adds on an extra $100 to fit to an Odin thumbrest. Seems excessive…
  15. They say the name of the spring right in the news report……
  16. No, that was the striker reset spring. this is the spring in question. I can see the confusion, it’s still listed in the parts diagram for the p320. But as I said, they haven’t put it in the fcu for at least 3-4 years now.

    Too much?

it doesn’t come close to fitting the GX or probably any other kydex holster. As to using thumbrest, I’d say that the vast majority of p320s I see at matches have some type of thumbrest installed. Now that there is one available for the shadow2, I’m sure you’ll see a lot more of those in the future as well. They do add something, how much is probably an individual thing.
  18. They haven’t put that spring in the FCU for years. Maybe 2019ish..

    Too much?

Because of where the gx attaches to the hanger, I doubt a gx would work
  20. It wouldn’t fit. But I’m not sure why you’d want to. The DAA is so much easier to adjust than the Henning.
  21. I run several guns that tight on the overtravel. If it cleanly releases the striker with a mag inserted, it’s generally good to go. that said, if it bothers you, the problem is you need to slightly reduce the overtravel on the trigger shoe. The old grayguns trigger kit doesn’t have that option. one thing to check is is the trigger stop pin is slightly bent, this can easily reduce the overtravel and make the trigger not work. Other than that, there probably isn’t much you can do with the kit you have.
  22. Does it release if you put an empty mag in the gun?
  23. Actually no, I’ve never dropped a gun ever. (maybe I’m jinxing myself here..) It wouldn’t concern me if I did drop it though. It’s possible something might break, but in my experience, the txg grip is the same durability as polymer. That grip easily has 10k dry reloads through it, I don’t see any reason why it won’t take 10k+ more.

I didn’t know tevo was working on one. It’s pretty similar for sure. Theirs also looks closer to the grip and an increased angle. I’m not sure I’d like that. The Odin is a bit cramped IMO, and the tevo has less room. I’ll have to check it out when released.
