  1. Stay tuned. Shot some prototype stuff the other day that was pretty sweet.
  2. Xl has larger glass and a squared shape. 3max is traditional round but slightly taller. Both electronically the same.
  3. Nitrofin seems to be best option unless you have hulk hand then it will he to short
  4. Because the tactical timmys buy more guns and use them less. They can either sell a dvc that is 50% likely to come back within a year after it’s been shot 20,000 times or a staccato that will not see 20,000 in its lifetime because the “tactical” guys think competition shooting gets ya killed on da streetz
  5. Ghost the one with barrel support. Used it limited and open and loved it. Fits my cheeley e2 grip as well as sti and my PT grips.
  6. Holosun is an awesome dot but to me the footprint is way to big considering the Sig Romeo 3xl has same glass dimensions
  7. I’ve run MBX or gen 2 sti with gram springs and followers with taran basepads. You can either buy a mag ready to go from mbx or build one using all the stuff Above. Both work
  8. has anyone had any experience testing both the limcat aswell as the PT magwell. both apparently have the "auto correct" feature that has become popular. im interested in knowing if the pt is just as good since the limcat is hard to find.
  9. i did a lot of temperature testing with clean shot and ultimate pistol and it seems to be very consistent in most temperatures. i noticed a slight fall off once when it was 108 outside and it was in the sun all day but only 2PF difference and that could have been me cooking it in the barrel. Seems to hold up pretty well otherwise
  10. i exclusively use clean shot for my 40 load and it is a very fine powder that can make a mess quickly. i use a dillon 1050 and once i switched to the TNT shell plate it removed alot of the fling but also put the arredondo stabilizer it brought it to zero. its a very consistent powder that meters very well so it was worth the extra stuff to keep it from spilling everywhere. once i made those switches loading shooters world ultimate pistol for 9 major was also much cleaner and less of a headache to clean
  11. One good thing is everyone I know who has a limcat even though they’ve experienced issues raves about Johnny’s customer service
  12. The issues I was hearing were related to feeding and ejecting issues Which I know is not fully due in part to the build itself but a lot of local guys in my area have what seems to be a lot of feeding issues with their limcat open guns. Could be they are all having ammo or mag related issues but they all have had to send their gun back at one time or another. That being said I’m also new to the idea of open been shooting limited and am used to my gun just straight running no matter I feed it.
  13. I’m tempted to buy a limcat open gun but I’ve heard concerns about reliability. Anyone had any experience with this?
  14. PC bullets are purple and their polymer coating is proprietary to them. It’s cleaner and loads way easier than other coated bullets. Not to mention it’s consistent and more accurate from my experience than that Blue company
  15. I have shot all three in limited configurations and to me the fit in finish, but reliability above all with the Atlas is the best by far. Customer service for me is most important and Adam and Cat seem to always win in that category as well. Ck makes a great gun in comparison to brazos and for a good price point. but for a few hundred dollars more you can have a Titan or if your really ballin out a Nemesis. either way it is going to be what you like more. just my 2 worthless cents on the subject
  16. I’ve run the same 8 mbx mags for awhile but I’m considering for the price trying the sti gen 2 with TTI basepads and gram guts.
  17. I agree lol this has had some awesome info. Thanks guys
  18. I have been shooting my canik tp9sfx in carry optics for awhile and love it. I have a glock17 with a zev trigger, Kkm barrel and custom slide and springs I intended to be my main gun but it went to the backup slot quickly after comparing the two. Canik has about 30k rounds through it and it has only gotten smoother. Installed a recoil system and flat face trigger ($75). It has been an awesome gun thus far. Plus apparently all the new walther sf have been shitting the bed lately so who’s laughing now.
  19. I am looking to buy my first open gun and i am wondering if anyone can shed some light on the differences between the lengths performance wise. Thanks
  20. good looking gun but the 2 piece grip and the fact that the mags arent STI style turns me off
  21. All mags mentioned above take maintainance, springs wearing out and if you dry fire hard or practice hard they will ALL go out of tune and need to be tuned but I’ve had good luck with MBX staying tuned the longest but it’s all personal preference TBH
  22. Looking forward to hearing how they run. Cool idea and fair valued price point.
  23. A venom can be anything you want. If you can dream it up, Don can build it. How is the fit and finish on venoms are they on par with the akai and atlas or do they look thrown together
