emailed the manufacturer with no response. all the descriptions for other makers claim 38super/9mm/10mm/.40 all use the same slide stop. 45acp is the only one that is different. so I assume the Nitro Fin is no different and they do not make another one for 45 acp

to install it is just drop in. the hardest part is tuning the sear spring to get the pull weight to what you want

Both? STI makes two sight block/island barrel combos (costa carry comp and omni)

I guess the best way is to get a custom compensator/block made? What about the barrel - (length, threaded or no, bull or bushing)? I saw a Hybri-Comp barrel with a sight block/compensator but he extended the frame to make the length flush - I guess you couldn't do that without extending the frame?

Has anyone worked with the EGW Comp Blank - Full Profile 2" Carbon Steel? Would it sit low enough to be flush with a long dust cover or is it cut to match a classic slide? I don't see anyone selling sight blocks or blanks for 1911/2011? Also, how is the slide made to work? A commander slide or cut a government slide? Thank You

I had the same question I asked a gunsmith about holes in a hybrid barrel and he said it like asking do you want an open gun or a limited gun.

could you put a *thumb rest [generic]* where the optic mount is drilled and tapped on the frame if you wanted to switch divisions? or leave the holes open or get short bolts to cover the holes

Which grip should I be looking at between the ; CK Arms Metal Grip Kit Aluminum - Textured with Small Magwell $545.00 or Phoenix Trinity Classic Grips 7075 Aluminum Textured $375 My frame is STI and I want to use my STI trigger. The CK Arms comes with mag release and magwell. I have an extra STI mag release if it fits the Phoenix Trinity and I would want the CK Arms W2R Bighands magwell and not use small Magwell Thanks
