What is the theory of removing the weight? It seems the heavier bolt would be slower to result in less felt recoil - unless removing the weight means less mass moving back and forth making up for the faster speed

I am using an MBX buffer short stroked stiffer as it goes back slows down the bolt/buffer during the cycling resulting in a reduction with felt recoil

@3gunnuts what bcg are you using and how much does your weight weigh? I have a tool craft bcg - i removed the weight to test - weight weighs 77 grams = 2.75 ounces

I wonder how much that 11" extension weighs compared to a 14" barrel

Should I leave my gun with the budget look now that I finished it or should I get a steel grip with DLC Black coat the whole gun or a steel grip and no coating? Grip $600+ Coating $450+ I have never held a metal grip before - only the plain STI and STI tree bark. Not sure how it will feel with more weight than it already has. Thanks

yea cerakote wouldn't work. DLC might. You can get the Czechmate style magwell in a bunch of different colors so I know it could work.

I like and only have the CZC magwell and grips - I chose that magwell because it looked more durable than CZUSA and just like the grips. You could get them coated black with your gun and be different.

I can guaranty the battery is on the bottom, can you guaranty it will run for 3 years?

what is the lowest trigger pull weight achievable with shelf parts? I am looking at SAO Aluminum Trigger, CGW hammer/sear, Reduced Power Trigger Return Spring, SRS-2 Short Reset System with 11.5lb hammer spring.
