  1. Wet tumble. But then I wash, deprime + size, wash again then roll-size. Makes reloading eaaaasy. Just be careful dry tumbling, that dust contains a lot of fine lead dust. Slavex had to spend $17K to decontaminate his house.
  2. Angled base pads for 40 or else it won’t fit the box
  3. Not to bash anyone’s game but I’ve always looked at iPda as rule crazy. And the more I hear the less I question that assumption
  4. We’ll be there. Junior is going to University of Toronto and he’s moving into residence the next Sunday. Super easy
  5. 3My wife is fascinated by SASS and the costumes. We have enough with just getting better with IPSC and icore And more guns.... noooooo hell i’ve just got 2 new custom 929’s from Olhasso (paid for, importation takes a while) and a new svi. No more $ and room in the safe for SA wheels
  6. I’m loving 4.3gr N310 under a 190gr oal of 1.225 in my STI. Curious to see if that’s ok in my SVI. Just waiting for govt officials to process the transfer from the dealer.
  7. Eli did a great job on ours. And as a bonus gave me a pack of moons cheap as he didn’t know how to refund my shipping charges, accidentally tried to ship to my home address instead of my US one.
  8. It's fun and I shoot them better. I'm guessing the DA forced that extra bit of visual patience that I don't use when shooting my 2011. Well not anymore anyway. ICORE is a much nicer group without the rooster swinging that I've found in USPSA. We travel for ICORE matches, so 2 hobbies in one. Traveling to USPSA matches? Why, I can shoot matches all day long around here. Always wanted to visit the US but doing that for it's own sake wasn't in the cards. Add shooting a match to the mix, hell yea!
  9. Kingston/Frontenac IPSC L2. Our matches are run through IPSC Ontario’s website and sign up calendar - so you can’t see them. Funny thing is the 2 classic shooters bailed yesterday from our R/Min stacked squad lol.
  10. You run Blazer only too. Interesting.
  11. I got a used mark 7, attached a 650 to it and deprime and size brass. So far in 9 weeks I’ve ran 38,500 according to the monitor. Probably ~36,000 as it’s ran empty here and there. Mostly case feeder jams.
  12. What brass are u running? I have put a 650 on a used Mark 7and am in the process of working through a massive pile of 9mm that I deprime and size (then clean and roll-size). I keep one headstamp and sell the rest. today I had 3 starline that tripped the clutch as the lee u die started shaving the cases 2/3’s the way down. ALL starline. I ran each piece alone through the roll-sizer and resized. I did read some of the older posts here when we got our new 929’s that guys had issues with it.
  13. I've managed to get a single squad of 8 with 5 wheelguns for a L2 in June, with 5 being on the workers squad so it's 10 total so far. It would be 6 but not with open being the only option for my wife's optic'd 929. yea yea dead horse I know.....
  14. Lazy shooters. Much easier to shoot when it’s a single reload. 8 or 10 rounds requires planning
  15. From the land where it's 10 or go to jail, Production Optics is growing rapidly. Basically the poor mans open. I'm sure when it's recognized as a true division and no longer a trail it will be bigger than standard(limited), if it isn't already. It isn't recognized as a division at Nationals. In the Toronto/western Ontario area revo is dead. To the east of me there is a bunch of die-hard revo shooters. And to Swordfish's disdain the IPSC L3 out eastern Ontario way got cancelled when the MD and IPSC Ont board directors butted heads over mail in match sign-ups (which were fine in previous years). So it became a L2 with 8 revo shooters so far (still months out from match date)
  16. One shot here and it's less than 1%. I do get rid of Sumbro which is troublesome. Range brass Lee U die and roll-sized.
  17. I wouldn't be alienated, how about we put it to a vote about it? I'd be curious. I get what you are getting at, given that logic however why not dump the 8 shooters and make it 6 shooters only and speed(?) loaders. lol Seems a few here got alienated by that. At this point the patient doesn't have a heartbeat and we are well into heroic measures territory.
  18. Lot of deckchairs being re-arranged in this thread. Revo is already on life support. Adding optics IMO isn't going to hurt, at least there will be a few more shooter and given the way my eyes are going I might be one of them in a few years. 2 or 3 wheelguns might attract a few others? There isn't enough competition in revo that will give optics that much of an edge. My wife for one would be the extra revo shooter that might get someone else to bring the wheelgun out and make 3. I'm not shooting it alone, though I have done so in the weeks before the IRC. Like RJH says dull as s..t, ok it's what I would say but the point remains the same.
  19. From what I’ve read on the MBX site the springs are narrower on the Cali mags. They are indented to limit to 10 rounds.
  20. I was told to wear a hat as lead gets absorbed through the scalp? As for masks look for N100, lead styphanate blown out of primers is super fine
  21. I’m also using a lee undersized die and never had issues. Did have a fellow shooter at a match have his moonclip jammed. He had to keep the gun facing down range, knelt down and wacked the extractor against the fault line and it popped out. Claims he got lazy and didn’t bulge bust this batch of ammo. I went from a bulge buster to a roll sizer. 2nd IPSC match ever I had a very embarrassing jam on my sti that took 30 seconds to extract. So I made sure it never happened again.
  22. Roll size/case pro/ lee bulge bust your brass I’ve heard starline can be sticky
  23. Have u found the nickel WIN cases to be tighter? I have but it can’t be just the plating can it? I assume the plating is just microns thick. All I had at one time was clean nickel cases and I had to reshape my demooning tool they were so hard to remove from the moon clip.
  24. I get my gun next week! 15 months
