  1. Never had a head crack. When I unclip the brass the cracked ones “sing” in the tube, makes life easy.
  2. One good thing about a revo is I can shoot a cracked case, then toss it. I’ve got an ever accumulating pile of auto rounds that need to be pulled. One day...one day.
  3. I’m running a U die and roll-size my revolver 9mm brass. I use cracked cases for practice-no extraction issues. Even those that crack while being shot aren’t an issue either. The combo works for me. i got a mark 7 hooked up to a 650 for processing, it’s slow but works for me. When I find range blazer brass and add it to my shot pile of blazer it forces me to use a clutch setting of 6 vs 4. If it’s my shot brass only I can get away with 4. So something I’m doing is keeping the brass “in spec”
  4. We had fun driving around and visiting the covered bridges in the area at the East Coast Regional last Nov. The storm the day before made for fun driving through a few flooded back roads. Beautiful country.
  5. I roll-size and used to bulge-bust and never had an issue. Even using cracked brass for practice there isn't a problem. I do also use a Lee U die. I also had a shooter on our squad for the NW Reg. who uses N310. I thought about it but I've got far too much N320. I do use 310 for Limited.
  6. I use smile.amazon when the Amazon.comis cheaper than the .ca one. My charity is the NRA Foundation. It is aggravating when I keep getting asked if I want to change to Boston hospital whenever I log in. Funny that....
  7. Lol maybe it's 10 or 11. I never thought about doing the drills out of order. Federals or bust. I did try the Fiocchi non toxic ones but they aren't quite as soft even though I've had 2 go off in my 650. I've not hand re-steated for the last few matches with only 1 light strike, my wife nothing. I do for the major ICORE matches. You are just making sure there isn't any room for the primer to move once it's struck. And setting the primer too deep is bad too. Revo is a LOT more work. And I do find it helps my semi shooting (whenever I take it out)
  8. I practice using Anderson's 12 drills with a modified Burkett reload where the moonclip is fully inserted into the cylinder. Apart from that the other drills are the same but your finger will get tired by drill #9. Double action!! One thing I did yesterday for the first time yesterday (L3 Ontario Provincials) was prepping the trigger on a swinger. I think Neil told me that tip on the weekend. Made it easier but still got a mike. ^&*(^!!! I've have shot 3 big matches in 6 days, sooo tired.
  9. Shot a L3 a few weeks back that had a stage just like that.
  10. Well starline is out for 9mm never seen extreme up here. Most important is how it fits your chosen brand of moons (if it’s machined for moons that is)
  11. Just got home and it was a fun match! Even got my lonely unloved limited gun got a USPSA workout Saturday. Thanks to Tim @ the Rochester ICORE gang for a fun weekend. see you in Albany.
  12. Louisiana has always been on our bucket list. Fun times!
  13. Holding off here too. I not overly impresses by the editing on their facebook page when someone asked about the smaller pistol drums on the "Powder measure anyone?" post and the comments below simply won't load/deleted. I for one would like to know as I probably won't get a machine until they do a smaller drum
  14. We will definitely be back next year and stay for the shoot off!! Fun shooting with you all and nice to put faces to names. And Lance, wow, I hope to shoot like that when I get to his age.!!!
  15. Mine came with a spare motor, but I have one of the last made.
  16. I do. Even though I’m basically running it through a U Die a second time (I preprocess by decap and size then clean) Lube just makes it easier.
  17. Bristlecone was a very nice range! Going to check out Liberty/Scheel’s on Friday. Denver is a Beautiful city..... but the driving here is scary!
  18. Give N310 a go. 4.3gr ibejhead 190gr 1.22 oal.
  19. Thanks!!! Might just swing on by to Liberty on the way up Friday to pick up my ammo I shipped to the range. Weather looks awesome.
  20. Highland park but will travel (that's part of the fun)
