  1. It's the same, if not better. A few buddies have each brand and the Venoms can be customized the way you want. Price is way fair as well
  2. I use Lee dies for years and there are very few primer pockets they can't take on
  3. There's nothing else to accomplish your gun is returning to zero very well. Train a lot and get better. Flat chasing is low hanging fruit . Good luck to you
  4. How much cheaper is it than a newer gun? Few thousand?
  5. That recipe is for minor. You need 6 or 7 pound recoil spring. No, it's not going to batter the frame lol
  6. Have you tuned the mags for the czechmate? That usually solves majority of feeding problems What's your budget for a 2011?
  7. If you have bigger hands the p10F fits perfectly. The SIG grip is shorter. Both are fine
  8. Been using them for a few weeks now. Great bullet and will be purchasing cases from now. Price and quality are hard to beat
  9. They won't get in for a long time, if ever. But come have fun in Open!
  10. Yes those sissies cancelled to try and grovel to USPSA. That didn't work either
  11. At that round count you'll probably lose accuracy in your barrel. There's no exact science if the slide will crack. Sometimes they do and most of the time, they don't. If the gun is built well you'll be fine. Start competing and having fun. These things will happen if they are going to
  12. None of this is economically friendly lol. Give me the best site and tourism I'll spend the money
  13. Evo is the widest grip out there. They are related but not the same. I don't think you'll feel close enough to feel they are still similar
  14. So should they should shut down their entire operation because Vista Outdoors is limiting consumer sales? The smaller ammo manufacturers utilize 1050/1100s to make ammo. When you can get primers, stock up. That way you can be ahead of the game in the next shortage
  15. Yes it's reputable.. Actually met the owner in NJ once and his factory is awesome. Bison brass, Capital cartridge and Blue Ridge brass are good as well
  16. Trigger system is way better on 2011s. Bul is definitely not the best in the 2011 market but you'll be able to modify much more easily. I say Bul
  17. I have friends who run MBX with no problems. Others swear by Infinity only but I've seen them salt shaker in matches too. Probably safest to go with Infinity since they make the gun too
  18. Steel grip = overall more weight at the bottom should contribute to less lift. Heavier though. Slightly slower to transition. Polymer=lighter so faster to transition. It flexes so less thump in the hand unlike steel. You can put on a 10oz steel magwell like Akai and get pretty close to steel grip weight
  19. That's normal for mixed brass. I use starline for my major match ammo and SD is less than 5. Rifle primers will help you a little for sure
  20. Range mix brass? What kind of primers? I'm assuming you have a good seating die
  21. The slide comes with some ports in it but no popple holes as 9 major doesn't benefit enough from it it. I have an Infinity steel grip on it. It is also a short dust cover. I also have a BUL armory Bullesteros full dust cover that I rebuilt with the an Atlas open style slide. No cuts, all the metal along with the grip and it shoots balanced too. 7lb ISMI recoil springs in both.
  22. I have a Brazos with a trubor barrel. It's not nose heavy. Load and send it
  23. Say something. Idiots like this don't own the range
