  1. I had the same binding issue during installation with 3 of them. The adapter quickly smoothed out on its own but the end of the rod itself just needed a quick polish and it was good to go.
  2. I have shot a few thousand 147 HP Rainier's through Glock 34's with great results. Super accurate and never a stopage.
  3. Could the Bic plunger spring cause the trigger bar to not get a consistent positive reset into position?
  4. Yes. The lengths varied slightly but the diameter was consistent among the dozen or so I took measurements of.
  5. Have you installed a floating trigger pin by chance? I remember recently reading about another member having issues in SA while using one. I experienced some inconsistent hammer drops in SA while using a precise fitting slave pin to test different springs and polish. It felt like contact between the sear and half cock. After reinstalled the roll pin and it went back to functioning perfectly.
  6. I gave it a try using loctite's version of JB weld I already had new in the package. Even with a scuffed up and cleaned surface it failed to bond to the aluminum. Just brushing off the excess SC started to knock pieces free. In the future I will be sure to use the proven original.
  7. Factory. I can run Xtremes to 1.150 with ease so I don't see a need to have it reamed. Have just been looking for a coated option as well. If I switch to Blue's I'll go with the 125RN.
  8. I just received some sample packs in 125RN (.595 X .355) & 135TC (.650 X .355). The diameter looks to be consistent.
  9. I received a 135TC sample pack yesterday. To pass the plunk test in my Stock 2 the 135's have to have an OAL of 1.1050. This seems short considering the length of the bullet at .650.
  10. Thanks for the help over the phone. I tested it out today and everything worked perfectly. For those looking at the Bolo/Delta it seemed to drop in and work but the SA felt like it was just on the edge of not resetting. A few rounds of fitting and it was good to go.
  11. Did you just sprinkle it on thick and then later brush off the excess or do you need to press it into the JB Weld?
  12. Anyone have experience comparing Blue bullets at .355 against one of the more common HiTek coated offerings in .356? I have had good results using Xtreme plated .355 since new but am now interested in the benefits of coated.
  13. After receiving my single sided safety this is exactly what I did to have a backup. After carefully cutting, radius, polish and blueing the end by hand they look identical.
  14. I've found that at least with my square deal the SWC stem has only worked well with HP's. Most of the FP profiles I've used look basically like a RN with the tip cut off and fit that die much better.
  15. This may explain it. I'm new to Tanfoglio but this is something I came across while researching them.
  16. Has anyone tried these in a stock (unreamed chamber) Tanfoglio?
  17. Does the Bolo install as easy and work well with the Xtreme Delta hammer? From what I've read it sounds like you get a better trigger over the Titan.
  18. I am now 100% with the 14lb spring and properly seated Win primers. My polish job is nothing special. I think the key is having the PD firing pin.
  19. Nice videos. Coming from a Glock/M&P I wish I had them 1 month ago. The gun was easy to figure out but I now see a few spots on the sear cage and trigger bar I unkowingly missed.
  20. Both my 34's (Gen 4) would eject them about 2-3' away with 147's and a 13lb spring. Never a feeding issue in almost 2 full seasons with any factory or my reloads.
  21. How much heavier hammer spring would you need to have the same reliability with the Delta over the Titan all else being equal? Would the only trade off be a little extra pull weight for a better trigger feel?
  22. Looks great. Is that the JB Weld 2 part epoxy? Do you recall what grit that is?
  23. How did this ever turn out? Is it still holding up?
  24. Welcome and congrats on the new gun. I was resently kicking around those same ideas and went with a S2. I first went with the above-mentioned polish and springs only and the trigger was great. That said I have since added the 1pc sear and plan to order a Titan/Bolo after trying one with those mods. I tried a few grips and found the SSI scales the best of both worlds. Wide enough for a large surface area to grip onto and thin on top for a short trigger/mag release reach. I also found the stock ones work well after some sanding and grip tape.
