  1. I managed to barely scrape my way into B class (60.02%). That means there is a large amount of improvement that I need to make before being competitive. Took some videos of my practice session tonight. I had an epiphany tonight and was finally able to start shooting on a regular basis with both eyes open. This needs more practice, but is something that I have been trying to learn. Things I see I need to work on: 1. Grip - early on was not gripping enough, near the end started gripping tighter and saw better results. 2. Reloads - Fumbled 1 reload in this video bad. Other times I reload it alright, but am not very quick getting back on target. 3. Draw - My draws were consistent 1.5 - 1.8 to first shot. What else do you all see that is low hanging fruit?
  2. I recently watched a bunch of his videos. His movements are very explosive, and his splits on his PCC rifle are quick!
  3. I run 180 gr. BBI bullets. I am loading to 1.165" and using 4.65 gr of WST. This gives me 170-171 PF out of my 5" limited gun with a Nowlin Barrel.
  4. Agreed with above. I use the Redding GRx die (similar to the Lee die). The Dillon resizing die is not made to be used as a push thru. Best bet would be to do the following. Here are the steps I do with mine. Tumble Resize using GRx die (I don't use lube as I use a carbide die, so use lube if your Lee is not carbide) Then I load it on my 650 with the first station being the normal Dillon resizing die with the de-capping pin installed.
  5. Looks like Midway has switched to free Hazmat on CCIs with $150 or more.
  6. You are correct, when I said I use the GRX die, I meant that I size on a separate single stage press then still run it through the regular sizing die in my first station on my 650 too.
  7. I haven't had a CR speed belt, but I have owned a DAA and Shooters Connection belt. Both are fantastic stiff belts. I had a Boss holster on my DAA belt. No issues of canting in.
  8. Sorry for the terrible pic, and I can try and take another when it is light out. Here is mine. It doesn't look nearly as bad as yours.
  9. I checked mine when I got home today. In the right light, mine has just the slightest of gap. It looks like yours goes further down.
  10. I use the Dawson grip tape. It is definitely aggressive, but nice. I cleaned the grip well with alcohol prior to installing. Heat gun/hair dryer and gripping the gun in all different areas helps it really stick on.
  11. Bought the Fenix pd35 the other day. Pretty impressed with it so far. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
  12. I have put together 4 of my own. All are STI tubes, grams guts, and Dawson basepads. My most recent one was the new style tube. I do like it, but have had 0 reliability issues with any of my other ones.
  13. I was asking at a local knife shop about fenix vs. Nitecore. They said they are both made with same quality, and both are made in China. Biggest difference was Fenix has repair facilities in the US, where as Nitecore you have to send to China to get repaired.
  14. Everyone should have at least 21 rounds. If a 140 mm mag in .40 can fit 20, I think you could easily get 23+ in 9MM.
  15. Looking at a hundo. Will the 40 L hundo gauge 1.185"? Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk
  16. Let me know what you think about this. I am looking into getting one soon. Does the regular version not remember the mode it was last on? Thinking of getting one for daily carry, and want to be able to have it on bright from the start rather than cycling through modes.
  17. Absolutely, I had seen people mentioning it when I bought them. After putting them on the belt that portion would move up and down freely. Once they were added it was rock solid.
  18. The pouches he bought were from me. I added the extra Velcro to the back of the pouch. It kept it more secure than without. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk
  19. Just started looking at the captains of crush. What bands are you talking about? Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk
  20. The Amazon link has free shipping Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk
  21. This looks like a good option. Target Barn is where one of the local clubs gets all of their targets. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk
  22. I have the BOSS hanger, and it is great. Made really solid being all metal.
  23. Those turned out awesome. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk
  24. I looked at buying the Double Alpha Race Master pouches, but I talked to someone locally and he said he never has had issues with the polymer ones. When the time came to buy them I went with the Double Alpha Racers. I have no regrets with the decision. I wouldn't pass on getting a race style holster now if you are looking into getting one in the future. I made the switch from a bladetech to a Double Alpha Alpha-X. The change was great.
