  1. Looks like it cleans, but doesn't seem to shine as of yet. You going to let it run longer, or stopping at 1 hour?
  2. I would start with the full one as most people that buy the mini end up buying the full one after a little while.
  3. Haha i feel ya. I think the rollsizer would be amazing, but 1800 is a hard price to overcome. At least for the volume I shoot.
  4. Awesome! Just wanted to make sure.
  5. That's the problem with the way I have mine too. I ended up running it off the front of my bench and into a bucket underneath. That ebay design is definitely interesting. It'd be nice because the bottom hose never moves this way.
  6. DP Custom and Jagerwerks both put out great looking products.
  7. Might also want to consider changing recoil springs to still cycle with the lack of power. I know this is not reloading specific, but something to remember.
  8. This all the way. It's a little bit of a pain having to push thru size each piece of brass, but the amount of issues dropped drastically. If you have the coin you could always look into a rollsizer as well. If I loaded the volume/had money for it I'd get one for the time saving.
  9. I don't think any of them are totally going to get around the nesting issue. Even with the shell sorter I have the occasional few that want to nest inside each other.
  10. Here is one variation. There are quite a few if you search Shell Sorter on YouTube. Different people have different methods on it, but same result. This one is quite in depth with mods and stuff, but doesn't have to be that difficult.
  11. I was looking for this exact video on full disassembly, but wasn't able to locate it. I did find the series 80 slide disassemble video (if the OPs gun is series 80) NicTaylor00 has a lot of good 1911 videos.
  12. I put a Speed Demon kit in my 1911 from them. Everything went in without any issue. Did have to file on the thumb safety some to get it to properly engage/disengage, but followed directions online and took it slow. 10/10 would buy the same kit again.
  13. SV bows have always seemed like the popular choice. X-Line seems to have been making a big appearance over the past year or so.
  14. I looked into getting the die itself, but do you still have to buy the powder funnel separately?
  15. I wondered what happened to this machine. Not sure why it would come in at the same price as the 1050. I feel like people would just buy a 1050 and still have the option to load. Although I did hear there were slight machine changes.
  16. Sounds like a nice setup. I'd like to try out one of the powder quick disconnects as I empty powder after each session.
  17. I started with IDPA and then tried USPSA. I'd suggest try both and see which one you prefer. There are a lot of people who shoot both.
  18. This.. getting new users to shoot when they have to have a 1k gun to be competitive would severely limit the sport.
  19. Which is why I suggested the other basepads as well.
  20. Always been interested in knowing how the sizing dies are. I have the regular decapping die, and only broke 1 pin because of my stupidity.
  21. It'd be 3 times right? rolling it, then sizing 2 more times on the press?
  22. Finally took the plunge and got the shell sorting plates. Excited to try them out.
