  1. Come shoot the Az PCC match, 200 yards is not hard, if you are somewhat prepared.
  2. USPSA and other rule sets require 9mm as a minimum to be used in PCC. The OP has a 5.7 which won't make the cut.
  3. Micro welding is the current procedure to improve slide/frame fit. All the welding is done on the frame rails , then machined to a tight fit on the slide.
  4. The surface treatment makes it very hard, a carbide reamer might do it, but, may chip, destroying the tool. Cheap way out is fit the ammo to the barrel. My Rival runs SNS 125 RN at 1.130 with no problems.
  5. Not all round nose bullets are shaped the same. What brand are you using, what weight. Vague information will result in vague answers.
  6. Magazine capacity is limited by the box for Stealth. I'm guessing the desire is the use of 141 length mags.
  7. I'm using one from Smokey Mountain Concealment. Very well molded holster for the Rival.
  8. I replaced the stock trigger with the Gray Guns flat trigger. It is an improvement of the stock Legion trigger, which is good out of the box.
  9. Welcome the forum from a former Mass. resident. As Cuz asked, what part of the state are you located?
  10. Don, I've not seen the B&P slugs for a long time. Dillon hasn't had them. They were the most accurate slug in my M2. Fiocchi are the next best.
  11. Carlson is what I've been using in my M2 for years.
  12. My experience with the RDB system is good and not so good. The good is the recoil is good, you can run a standard AR trigger, and the normal buffer and spring. The not so good, is the ejection issues. To be honest, I've not done any real experimentation with ammo for it, I tend to run hot ammo. Also, CMMG has a tuning weight kit, which I will get to at some point. The conversion mags or kits for Pmags run well. Feeding has not been a factor at all.

    Canik mags

Midway was still showing in stock. I just ordered 2.
  14. The ejector springs are available. I bought 10 of them. Spring, Ejector, Mk10 | CMMG - AR 15 and AR 10 Builds and Parts
  15. Satern Single Shot Mag Follower AR-15 Polymer (midwayusa.com) You may have to modify it a bit to fit a PMag. Why not use a metal 20 rounder with the above follower?
  16. Prescott shoots USPSA on the 1st Saturday and 3rd Sunday. Abreviated USPSA-ish matches on the Thursdays before that. I'm not a steel shooter, but the club also has Steel Challenge matches and what they call Thursday Steel, which are not Steel Challenge stages. PRESCOTT ACTION SHOOTERS aka YAVAPAI RECREATION LEAGUE It's cooler than in the valley by about 15 to 20 degrees. I think it's warmer than Idaho though.
  17. There used to be shell catchers for Remington 1100's, and some "universal" ones of a different design, with a spring wire contraption to snag the rim. For the Stoeger, I'm not sure if anything is available. I shot in trap leagues for some years before moving from Mass. I sometimes used my Benelli M2 3gun shotgun, and maybe the Perazzi shooters got bumped with a hull, but, oh well. We don't all drive Mercedes or BMW's, nor have the $'s for shotguns for something we don't base our recreation time to. Over the years, I've shot many games with guns, and some trap shooters have been the group that would turn me off from any shooting sport. Sad to think that, isn't it?
  18. You may get away with a heavy duty rubber band over the ejection port in front of the charging handle. I've never had any range require a shell catcher on a trap field. Ask to see the range rules, or find another club to try trap. What club told you that, Minuteman?
  19. A couple years ago, a good friend and very good shooter, figured he would have to shoot 20% faster to equal minor to major. He couldn't do it, and he practiced a lot prior to the nationals. This friend was consistantly on the Super Squad when he was younger. This past weekend was the Western States Single Stack match. Nils won the match, shooting Major, TGO was 3rd shooting 87%. I was on the squad following many of the top shooters, TGO included. I heard "minor sucks" more than once when we caught up to that squad. The extra couple rounds for the most part were not a big adavantage given the stage designs. Short reloads negated the extra 2 rounds, as there was distance and props between groups of targets.
  20. Thank you Brian! I missed it for the several days it was down.
  21. Mark Passamanek used the tubing from chain link fence gates. I guess it was heavier than the other tubing. I think it was cut 6 inches in length.
  22. Unfortunately component shortages are what we have to deal with. It is a pain with having to drive to stores hoping to get some primers. Unless you have a buddy in a store, this is what we are now dealing with. I'm in Prescott Valley, and will take "primer runs" as my wife calls them. It's hit or miss, but, it's what I have to do. Sportsman's Warehouse is one of my stops on a regular basis. I can't give load data, since I've not used either powder in a PCC.
  23. If the frame is a Commander frame, get a Commander slide. The frame is different than a Government model. The vertical surface where the slide impacts is farther back than a Government frame. Talk to your chosen gunsmith prior to purchasing any more parts.
